Description
"Space is big. Really big. I mean, you might think it's a long way down to the road to the chemist, but that's peanuts to space..."
-- The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

This mod changes the scale of solar systems, spacing out the planets and moons to be more visually pleasing. It's basically just a perspective change, so ships will still cross systems as fast as before. The pre-scripted systems are also randomized a bit more: you no longer start out with two perfect colonization candidates, planets generally have more moons, and there's more variety to the precursor and fallen empire systems. So you never know exactly what you'll find when you send your science ships into the void!

You may notice two graphical bugs in the latest version, none of which are in my power to fix presently.
- Mining/research stations sometimes orbit far away from their planet. Annoying, but they still do their jobs.

Please let me know if you find any systems that look off and I'll fix them ASAP.

@Mack-Daddy Should be fine, it's just a few system initializers that were updated.

@♤ |_Pandora_| ♤ I'll update it when 2.2.4 becomes the live version. :)

@Mack-Daddy That event just auto-surveys all uninhabitable ringworld sections upon entering a ringworld system. It works fine for me, and should work with all mods that use those sections.

is this a mod conflict?

@Sungross👌 Yes, but moons will be WAY farther from their planets than they're supposed to be. Starting from scratch will have them orbiting at a more realistic distance.

@yobeefjerky For vertical height above the planet plane, I don't think it's possible, sadly. For horizontal distance, go into my defines file and change PLANET_STATION_ORBIT_DISTANCE from 0.3 to 0.1 or something.

So, by modifying the mod's files, how could i alter the altitude of the ships and stations to be closer to the planets?

Does this work with save games?
