Vegetable Garden Project functionality in 1.0/1.1/1.2 available here:
Expanded Woodworking for Vegetable Garden Project.

Features
  • Trees, Saguaro, and bamboo have their own unique wood.
  • Every wood type (except Saguaro) has a corresponding lumber!
  • Process logs into lumber at the woodworking table!
  • Lumber is used in both construction and in crafting.
  • Supports any starting scenario through using the crafting spot.
  • Raw logs are used as fuel!
  • Realistic wood colours!
  • Fluffy's Mod Manager support!
  • Compatibility with any mod using wood as a fuel item.

Patches Included
Know any other mods which add trees and drop plain old wood or have objects which cannot be made of the beautiful wood above? Let me know!

Compatibility
Expanded Woodworking overwrites the following vanilla definitions and may conflict with any other mods which directly (not through patches) edits these:
  • Wood Log
The following are editted through a patch and most likely (not in all cases) will be compatible:
  • Trees
  • Brewery & barrels
  • Butcher table
  • Torch lamp
  • Campfire
  • Any other wood-fueled items (incl. from other mods)
  • Passive cooler
  • Spike trap
  • Joy and art objects
  • War mask
  • Any weapon made of wood
  • Peg leg and wood foot
  • Marble blocks

Credits
  • ItchyFlea - For the original mod.
  • Qwynn - For the original Expanded Woodworking.
  • dismar - For the awesome bamboo graphic.
  • A talking dolphin? - For the Lumber graphic.
  • lex1975 and DiamondGrace - For Russian localisation.
  • Azarashi - Castellano Spanish language localisation.
  • XeoNovaDan - Realistic Planets patch.
  • KennethSamael - ReGrowth: Biomes of The Rim patches.
  • Chowder - Woodworking table graphics.
  • DrZhivago - Dead Goat's and RT's Weapon Packs patches, miscellaneous patches, and woodworking table graphics.

Issues
If you want all the fancy new flooring, you'll need Fluffy's Stuffed Floors. Put it in the load order somewhere after this mod.

In regards to scenarios:
Attempting to use the scenario editor on any custom scenario which references items made from vanilla wood logs will not work and flood the debug log with errors. Attempting to select a scenario which references items made from EW wood types without EW installed will have the same effect. As a work around to this problem, you may disable EW, create a blank scenario from the one you wish to edit (such as Lost Tribe), save it, and re-enable EW. You will then be able to edit the blank scenario template.

If you find any bugs or vanilla wood items which are not properly stuffed (capable of being built with all lumber types), please let me know! Please read this guide before creating a bug report, and then create a bug report here[github.com]

Fair and understandable.

@CrazyOatmeal Oh, my apologies for the wrong interpretation. For the sculptures that appear in vanilla (and ignoring material cost), I think it is more appropriate that they use logs as a base to carve from than piecemeal or glued together lumber. It also gives another use requirement for keeping logs.

Ah, really I meant if it would be possible to have vanilla sculptures use lumber instead of logs, but I see the necessity. Perhaps be able to use both?

@CrazyOatmeal
Not efficiently. Much easier for the mod creators to add a patch within their mod for Expanded Woodworking users. Politely ask the mod creator to add a patch where the art objects are made out of the stuffCategory, RawWoody, instead of Woody where appropriate when using the mod Expanded Woodworking.

Sculptures still require wood logs, while modded art objects require lumber. Is this something you can address?
Johnny Jan 13 @ 7:07am
Ahh good to know but yeah 15 lumber is like $1.10 a piece depending on the lumber and then processing it makes it $1.50 but its double the stack of 15 lumber because it turns to 30 pieces

@Johnny Not without manually editing the price in the file. I probably need to do another balance pass in the future.
Johnny Jan 13 @ 1:17am
Is there a way to lower prices of lumber because i've noticed my history of wealth just shoot up because i made extra lumber for future projects

@Diabolic damsel
No new trees will be added in this mod. Instead, the trees of the standard game drop the new types of wood. So the trees spawn as it is in the standard game.

what biomes do the trees spawn in
