Hey, just typed out a whole long post, then deleted it (like an idiot)

The basics were;
I'm new to PC gaming (being a console guy) and I wanted to try some new locations for Skyrim, however, after the workshop's content finished installing and I get to Skyrim's splash screen, I get treated to Error 16 after a minute of 'downloading' a single mod.
The fixes I've already found involve having more than 40 mods, I have One.

Anyway, I'd appreciate any insight into how to fix it, even if it's just a theory...
(maybe I'm just stupid, hell, I waited a year for the DLCs to get a PSN release :P)
