Automated Ark is a modification for ARK Survival Evolved that adds an array of useful devices to make some of the more boring tasks in Ark a little more tolerable. All devices are added with the intention of Automating a lot of the boring stuff that has to be done in the game, like filling crop plots with fertilizer.

Here is a quick video description of how to use the new OCD pulling system.

To keep any dino or structure being pulled from, simply put a * or a ~ anywhere in the name of the dino or structure. If the structure can not be renamed, take out a building helper and put the tracking ball on the structure and hit "C" or crouch button if remapped. This will allow you to name any structure in the game.

AA:: Control Console
This controls all OCD Pulling and Craft Pulling in the mod. You MUST place one of these down in your base for automated or crafting pulling to work. Automated Pulling is disabled by default. Craft pulling will still work with the Automated Pulling disabled. **NOTE** Once pulling is enabled the console will start sorting EVERYTHING into the OCD Storage system. If you do not set up the new system beforehand then it will pull everything into the console. This makes it easy to set up. Just simply take one of each item and add it to a vault, hit the add resource button, and then wait for the console to sort it all to the vaults. This is an effecient method to make sure everything has a place to be stored. If its in the console, then it has no OCD storage spot. OCD Storage includes OCD Vaults, OCD Driftwood Vaults, Veggie Crate, Refrigerator, Freezer, Grill, and Grinder. More storage, including but not limited to metal paintable vaults, and vaults that dont snap coming soon.

**********Items with OCD Pulling include OCD Metal Vaults, OCD Marble, Vaults, OCD Driftwood Vaults, OCD Drop Vaults, Veggie Crate, Refrigerator, Freezer, Grill, and Grinder*************

AA:: OCD Vaults (thatch, marble, metal, and drop)
Add in an item, hit the "Add Resource to List" button and that vault will pull that resource into it. Check the video above for a quick tutorial.

AA:: Autocrafter
Put an item in it and click Start crafting. It will continuously pull resources and craft that item until you hit stop crafting!
-Will only craft base level items and resources. No tiered items or custom recipes.
-Takes Electricity to work
-Put item inside of the structure, click on it, then click start crafting
-It will turn the item into an engram that can not be removed the structure and then pull the resources to craft it. It will continuously craft the item as well as pull new resources in every 60 seconds to craft until you run out of resources.
-To stop the crafting simply click on the engram that was made, and hit "Stop Crafting." This will turn the engram back into the item and let you remove it from the inventory.

AA:: Refrigerated Chemestry Station
Refrigerated Chemestry Station complete with auto pulling. Simple click on a Blueprint and hit pull resources. You can also change the number of resources to pull.

AA:: Vacuum
Picks up items off of the ground to be sorted by the console.

AA:: Smithicator
Automated Arks custom Smithy that also has a top that snaps on. These 2 structures combined will craft all items in the game, including many items from other mods. Complete with Autopulling!

AA:: Cauldron
Automated Arks take on the Industrial Cooker. This structure is self irrigated, and you can even snap water pipes to it and use it as a water source. Complete with Auto Pulling!

AA:: Kibble Station
This structure works as a water source like the cauldron for early game water, and is used to craft any AA specific kibbles or consumables. This is seperated from the cauldron so server admins can disable it easily to remove any items that may be considered too OP for normal play.

AA: Dehydrator
This is Automated Ark's take on the Preserving Bin. It runs on electricity and does not require sparkpowder or Oil to make Jerky!

AA:: Compost Bin
Automatically collects poop and thatch to crate fertilizer. Also pushes poop to Dung Beetles for them to make fertilizer.

AA:: Fertilizer Silo
Collects the fertilizer from the AA Compost Bin and Dung Beetles. Distributes Ferilizer evenly to all crop plots in range!

AA:: Egg Crate
Collects Eggs from all nearby dinos!

AA:: Refrigerated Feeding Trough
Refrigerates its contents and evenly distributes its contents to all nearby refrigerated troughs. This makes it easy to manage a large area while only filling up a single trough. Veggie crates will not be blanced so you can keep them near you snails!

AA:: Spoiling Bin
Used to Spoil Meat. Recommend splitting stacks before transferring meat, or simple hold Ctrl+T to split one meat at a time. Using this method can split 300 meat in 10 seconds.

AA:: Turret Genie
Used to Distribute ammo to nearby turrets at the cost a few bullets tax. (This structure is getting an overhaul soon to make it work with tek turrets and any modded turrets!)

AA:: Workbench
Used to craft AA specific structures. Complete withj Auto Pulling!

AA:: Plant Commander
Used to set the range and targeting of all nearby Plant Species X

The ModID for this mod is: 812655342

If you are running this mod on a dedicated server you must specify this mod ModID as a commandline arguement GameModIds=812655342 or as ActiveMods=812655342 in GameUserSettings.ini. You only need to specify it as a commandline arguement -OR- in the ini file - not both :) If you have another mod running then use a comma to separate the mod numbers. This mod is fully stackable and does *NOT* need to be called first.

If you have any ideas for how this issue can be resolved then please leave a comment below, I would appreciate it

Huge thanks to Jslay, Woeful Macabre, Poker, Mezzo, Tao, Ghazlawl, RedDwarf, Chris and anyone else I'm forgetting for all their help getting this mod built and stable!

@surferscca: Its working as intended. Its now the Console and vacuums that picks up after the snails. The Snail Collector is just an early storage.
surferscca Feb 15 @ 6:13pm
I don't think the snail collector is working.

I,m used to so many mods being abandoned as authors do a few updates, never answer questions and just disappear. If that's not the case here, apologies. I would, however, still like to know the decay times of the AA structures as I've had some disappear a bit more rapidly than I thought they were intended to. Thanks.

Hello for the jousting of genius for the management of the turret of any mod is it always planned?
blitzfire911  [author] Feb 13 @ 6:46pm
@diggs the mod is far from abandoned. I'm currently working hard on Automated Atlas and there are no big bugs with this mod. So an update hasn't been needed. However an update is planned for Arks new kibbles and a optimization change to the vaults including the new UI for all vaults

That being said..
Took a few days break and came back to every single one of my blueprints gone. Every single vanilla one that is. I still have two from a mod. They were all kept inside an AA smithy (singleplayer)

Last update was in December. Hardly counts as abandoned.

@ALLzooN - The ModID for this mod is: 812655342 . It was under 'description'.
Diggs Feb 9 @ 12:12am
Apparently, this mod isn't going to be updated, has been abandoned and, is all but dead.
