Rekoil Greenlight push
April 3, 2013 - Alone

Hey Everyone,

We would like to make a big push to get Rekoil Greenlit. We are currently in the top 30 games, and we would like to ask everyone who has supported Rekoil by voting yes, to grab a friend and get them to vote YES as well. We estimate that we need 15 thousand yes votes to add to our current 40k yes votes to get the final Greenlight.
We thank you in advance, and we really appreciate the support!

Thank you kindly,
Rekoil Dev Team

I'd love to but I'm still waiting to get into the beta. had the initial "if it's been 2 weeks let us know" email, then emailed back and still don't have the game. It looks cool but I haven't played it yet and I've been following this since Rikochet.

In my opinion, open beta's are a bad idea for games. Games are more like movies than software. Software benefits from an open beta because software is more about functionality. (Yes, I know games are technically software, but ignore that). Games are more like movies because games are about an experience. I think what Rekoil could use is maybe a really interesting trailer or two to catch people's attention, instead of letting people play the game now and experience a less than complete version of the game and come away from that thinking 'Well, it was OK'.
