Freak has made the jump onto Kickstarter! You can view the campaign below:

Any help, whether it be donating or spreading the word, would be greatly appreciated!

As a side-note we will be updating this steam page with new screenshots and video footage highlighting the combat and zombie vision in a little over a week, so be ready for that too!

We are thrilled to announce that after 18 days of being on Steam Greenlight, we are officially GREENLIT! All of us at Crowned Daemon Studios would really like to thank everyone who voted (positively or negatively) and shared feedback with us regarding the game. We have been listening and we appreciate each and every one of you. Don’t think this is going to mean a lull in announcements. We’re charging full steam ahead of bringing the demo to you, and in the meantime we want to keep providing you with new details about the game, starting TOMORROW with a set of posters for each of our featured characters. We will still be regularly checking and updating our Steam Greenlight page so feel free to continue to communicate with us there. As always, we’re listening on Facebook and Twitter as well, so don’t be afraid to reach out to us with those outlets either. Again, thank you so much for your support. We’re all so amazed and humbled by the response we’ve gotten over the past few weeks and we’ll never be able to thank you guys enough. All of us are so happy to be a part of this community and so excited to have you on board with us.

Hey everyone!

Thanks to everyone who has taken a look at our game so far and left us comments, voted, or followed the game. We appreciate anyone who takes the time to let us know how they are feeling and we read all comments and questions regarding the game. It’s very important to us that we create a game that YOU want to play, so thank you for helping us make that happen!

We wanted to take the time to address a few things. First, just a reminder that this is still technically an alpha build of the game you are looking at. Things are still in a stage where we can change some details. For instance, a lot of you commented that the game looks like it might play a little slow. We’re taking that into consideration and speeding up the player and enemy movement a bit.

Secondly, many of you have commented that you would like to see Zombie Mode before making a decision. We can totally respect that. Our original plan was to not implement zombie mode into our early builds because we really wanted to perfect the base game before adding it in. Even the playable demo we are going to release along with our Kickstarter was not going to have Zombie Mode implemented. However, given the high demand and interest for Zombie mode, we are going to make a serious attempt to implement it in the playable demo that launches alongside our crowdfunding. Still, we don’t want to delay the release of the demo if we can avoid it, so in the event that we are unable to release everything at once, the demo will be updated down the line to include it.

Lastly, and on a less serious note: no, Tinker does not have a tumblr nose. He actually doesn’t have any nose at all! It’s bitten off in the initial attack that turns him into a zombie, as demonstrated in this piece of concept art.

We hope that clears a few things up! Please keep your comments coming. We look forward to hearing from you!
