Pretty please buddy, can you fix this for post 3.1?

Working on an Update/Modified Version of this, ill link it here soon
Bardagh Apr 21, 2021 @ 12:36am
Following in hopes of someone updating this. PLEASE!!!
tog Jan 30, 2021 @ 9:03am
Koreom, it's fine and indeed *helpful* to create an updated version of someone's mod. Just give them the *option* to upload the updated version on their workshop too, but at this point you can upload it to your steam workshop too.
Koreom Dec 20, 2020 @ 1:16pm
I looked into the code and compared the changed diplomacy file with the current one. Conclusion: The mod is quite outdated. There are many small changes, but the most important thing is that the envoy action are not in the mod file.

It would be quite easy to update this. Do you know what the etiquette is if someone would like to update the mod of somebody else?
Koreom Dec 20, 2020 @ 11:33am
Is there a way to get only the spam filter part of the mod?
I still would like to know if another empire has a new treaty with another empire, I just want them to stop sending me the 100th federation invitation when I declined all of them before ...
Celtic-Soul Dec 16, 2020 @ 4:56pm
Does it still work?
LST Theunknown Dec 15, 2020 @ 7:42am
People pls look and write in the discussion. Especially if you are have questions. :)
Misdom Jun 26, 2020 @ 12:13am
I need to disable the repetitive slave on the market notification, i cant even hear my game anymore the notification is non-stop. This mod didnt fix it
Blue001 Apr 18, 2020 @ 3:24pm
Also had to disable to this to bring back the Harm and Improve relations button. Man... I hate the spam, but that is kind of important.... so guess Ill wait till this updates.
DrDreadgen Apr 12, 2020 @ 5:07pm
there a way you could add the option to remove or silence the "A founder pop is on the slave market!" notification, for some reason my so called allies made my species duckn slavs and now they are constantly beeing sold on the market and each time it makes a sound when a new one is put up, grrrr. Help
mazrados Apr 8, 2020 @ 2:08pm
I have the same issue.

Could not figure out why envoys are useless. Then read somewhere that similar mod is messing up with diplomacy screen and there are no options to improve/harm relations.

Disabled this mod and missing options are available.
schnupfi Mar 22, 2020 @ 11:37am
update pls
Zephyrus Mar 22, 2020 @ 9:16am
Hey, there seems to be a bug with this mod that is preventing me from using the new Improve/Harm Relation in diplomacy. No idea why.
aZmoDen Mar 21, 2020 @ 6:26am
it hasnt been updated since 2.3, id say run it and see if things are stopped. if whats calimed keeps comming through it doesnt work.
it shouldnt have any savegame progblems you can enable it / disable it with no ill effects.
Svensk Mar 21, 2020 @ 4:25am
Does this mod still work in 2.6
Zephyrus Oct 30, 2019 @ 1:03pm
To pick up on the conversation from August, one way to get you 50% of the way there, is to delete the sound files for "construction complete" and "system survey complete" for each Voice Over type. Then all you have left is a silent notification icon.

Much less annoying.
Daichi Hiroshi Aug 10, 2019 @ 5:36pm
@/dev/null Damn...if only the dev team would open them up so they could be modded. Or better yet: add an option to silence them directly into the game! lol
/dev/null  [author] Aug 10, 2019 @ 11:52am
@Keiththewolf, those kind of notifications are on my personal wishlist as well -- but, unfortunately, they are hardcoded into the game (can't be removed by mods).
Daichi Hiroshi Aug 10, 2019 @ 10:55am
Are there any plans to add spam control for notifications like system surveys or construction completed? I find the constant barrage of those notifications pretty annoying. lol
Mushroomancer Jul 8, 2019 @ 8:22pm
Yeah, I looked into it too. My solution was to impose ideology and outlaw galactic slavery.
/dev/null  [author] Jul 8, 2019 @ 8:04pm
@Dath, I've implemented your request. @Toasted Bread, I looked into this, but unfortunately those messages appear to be hard-coded; I can't find a way to remove them in a mod.
Mushroomancer Jul 7, 2019 @ 5:36pm
Could this work to disable the spam of "Your founder species is on the slave market"
Dath Jul 7, 2019 @ 9:36am
Any chance you could add policies to stop AI offering you research agreements and commercial pacts? Still getting spammed with those annoyingly.
/dev/null  [author] Jun 14, 2019 @ 5:42pm
@FictionXVI, @adamsrealm, @Spalato -- It was working despite the warning, but I've just updated it to remove the warning. No compatibility changes necessary.
Spalato Jun 12, 2019 @ 8:13am
@adamsrealm it does work with 2.3.1 despite the warning in the launcher
Cienna(RB) Jun 6, 2019 @ 3:49am
is this 2.3 compatible?
FictionXVI Jun 5, 2019 @ 6:30am
Does still work with ancient relics?
/dev/null  [author] Jan 25, 2019 @ 5:31pm
@Fonsoite: Yes, but all players must have this mod installed.
Fonsoite Jan 20, 2019 @ 10:05am
does it work in multiplayer?
aZmoDen Dec 17, 2018 @ 11:04pm
Ah man ive missed this mod.
Somehow i overlooked it when i redid my 2.2 mod list and frekaing hell, the spam is driving me nuts.
Thank you once again for this mod and your time for keeping it current!
/dev/null  [author] Dec 15, 2018 @ 12:06pm
@Jman5: I can't make that configurable in-game, due to limitations of the modding API. However, it does make sense to allow those specific notifications -- I'll push out an update shortly to enable them.
Zephyrus Dec 10, 2018 @ 5:39am
Hey, thanks for doing this mod.

Would it be possible to let players enable war declarations and federation joining notifications? I don't care about most AI vs AI interactions, but I do like to know when a war breaks out in the galaxy.
aZmoDen Jun 24, 2018 @ 3:19am
@/dev/null that command is a godsend. Thanks again!
aZmoDen Jun 21, 2018 @ 4:06am
@ /dev/null thank you very much!
mazrados Jun 20, 2018 @ 10:50am
UPDATE: It is enabled after several seconds :)
mazrados Jun 20, 2018 @ 10:49am
Just subscribed to this mod in the middle of the game and all policies are disabled. But the most important is to disable all this spam and if it works then I'm ok with that (huge galaxy with 30 AI's).
/dev/null  [author] Jun 16, 2018 @ 8:34am
@aZmoDen I added a console command to set all of the mod's (non-cheat) policies to "ignore": effect nsc_ignore_all
aZmoDen Jun 10, 2018 @ 8:31pm
Quick question, is it possible to have the settings to default to 'ignore'? it is a wee bit tedious going through again and again when starting new game...
/dev/null  [author] May 25, 2018 @ 7:27pm
@Banshee I looked into this, but unfortunately the anomaly popups are hardcoded into the game. There doesn't seem to be any way to turn them off other than disabling anomaly generation altogether.
Banshee May 24, 2018 @ 7:21am
Is it possible to add a feature to cover anomaly spam with the niven update?

Since the new patch, I find the constant popups of anomalies annoying in the vanilla game. The spam is real.

I would like to be able to set a vessel to be able to auto-explore anomalies similar to the vanilla game's auto-survey feature unlocked via research.

It'd be extra cool if the notifications came as a small side window with the anomaly title that you could click on which links to the anomalies tab. That'd be way less annoying than the constant spam that's currently in the game.

Maybe a feature like that would dovetail nicely with this mod you've made?
Spirit May 18, 2018 @ 3:37pm
i hope it is compatible with 2.0.5 because i hate the "XYZ constructed a megastructure" is annoying as f**k
Vas Apr 17, 2018 @ 3:02am
Hah, I was going through to unsub to all non-updated mods, and this one is just one decimal out of date. 2.0.2 is current while this one is 2.0.1, I'll test shortly to see if it still works.
RedStarSingularity Mar 22, 2018 @ 7:15pm
is there a legacy version of it for 1.9 ?
/dev/null  [author] Mar 22, 2018 @ 7:04pm
@mach1991 The mod will probably cause issues if used with 1.9 -- the devs changed the names of a few triggers in 2.0, so I expect there will either be errors loading the mod or the AI won't ever send out a couple types of diplomatic messages (even to each other).
RedStarSingularity Mar 22, 2018 @ 6:24pm
@macko second that
Magnus Mar 10, 2018 @ 2:42pm
Awesome! That's the main thing Federations needed to be properly playable! Thanks! :)
/dev/null  [author] Mar 10, 2018 @ 1:56pm
@Magnus I've added another policy to automatically ignore war invitations from federation members without penalty. You'll need to run the following command to unhide it: effect nsc_enable_cheats
/dev/null  [author] Mar 10, 2018 @ 10:14am
@Magnus It would be possible, but I actually decided against including it in the mod /because/ of the diplomatic penalty. I wanted to avoid making any "cheat" settings, so I only added options for the proposals which don't have any consequences when you decline them.

It should be possible to add cheat policies which can be unhidden via a console command, I'll look into it.
