This is probably the best starter, no frills hovercraft. It's fast and packs a punch. I've been using this thing since 0.6, and it's fantastic. For scouting and even POI smashing. It's cheap, to boot. I typically upgrade the armor, engines, and cockpit and use it throughout the game. Four minigun turrets and can dodge most anything a POI will toss at you.

Nifty little starter tank, but seems to have limited options to upgrade short of major chassis rework (sadly). Excellent for hunting, or to just cover you in mildly hostile conditions.

Hey there. If anyone is wondering why you need cobalt for such a simple -yet awesome- ride: it's the constructor on the top, which is actually the sv-version as of Alpha 8.6. Just go in creative mode and replace it with the hv-version and you have the vessel like I assume it was meant to be; ready to start exploring the starter planet. Hope that helps anybody. Took me some time to find out...

my go to first HV!

This is from another Fan of the Micro and as others its my go to HV and it can be up-gunned artillery on main body and changed two miniguns for plasma, I will publish thats ok with you Fractalite I call it the Bull-Nose

This still works great in the early game as of 7.0. :)

Simply outstanding. My go-to early game HV everytime.

Later on, I have gotten in the habit of adding onto it a bit (3 drills, a drill turret, harvest box), but it is a marvellous design as it stands. Well done!

You did a great job on this. It is cheap to make, good on fuel, light, and fast - Yet it has everything needed for long excursions. And it looks cool. The only thing I've ever added is a docking pad, so it may go on further adventures.
I normally blast the turrets off some POIs with a SV, then come back with the Micro, and it watches my back. Thank you so much for sharing this gem!

This little guy is my early game workhorse! 4 turrets make it untouchable by drones. LOVE it.

amazing little HV. I moddified mine to include an artillery canon on the top and replaced the four minigun turrets with plasma. perfect size for parking in the limited space on my small capital ship. the plasmas and upgrading the armor I borrowed from Ramseur. Ease of repair goes to your amazing design Fractalite.

My favorite HV, I eventually replaced the two front weapons with plasma and upgrade to hardened steel. I really love this machine and its design. No more sniping turrets, I just head in and duke it out. Thanks.

Found out that you can access the modules through the control panel to fill boxes.

This girls a real beauty, well done.

Couple questions:
Where is the fuel tank?
Where is the ammo box?

I'v found the Fridge, constructor, (2) Storage Boxes and the O2 modules.

I got it runnin finally, lol and im loving it! i had to press Y cause im an idiot, beedn gaming for 35 years and I love the blunt slap of noobism, but learning this game has been fun and the game itself is pretty damn awesome and now like the rest I sit here and await it to be made even better =)

This is a great little hover for PvE that drives well, protects you when mining and is dirt cheap. If you want more punch it is super easy to swap the turrets with more advanced ones as they become available. I use it for those auto mining runs. It is enjoyable to run up a mountain and then leap over the top to glide down.

It is not armoured so be careful when going into a POI.

It drives really well. Good job.
