Don't worry about a donation - almost nobody gives it, actually, so your lonely help would do nothing. Much better is to find you support us. It is quite a great thing, really!
That's too bad Alex is busy right now. I would gladly give you both a donation because you deserve it, but I'm currently very short on cash. I promise you I will send you a donation when I'll get a still job! So currently, I can only help with finding resources, as I've already mentioned, feel free to ask me, I'll see what I can dig up ;).
Also many T3 cars are modernised by local tram plants and depots. All the Moscow T3-like cars (MTTCh, MTTA, MTTA2, MTTD) are fully rebuit cars using original metal carcass of old cars. They are something like PCC2 in Philadelphia - looking old, but are more modern inside. These Moscow modernizates are sold to Nizhnij Novgorod, Krasnodar etc.
There are also another modernised versions - in Barnaul, for example.
Inekon T6B5 cars, btw, are working in Ufa city in Russia.
About KT8D5 - there is a problem, because I need Alex_By's help to convert it in game, but he is very busy right now. The model itself is quite ready.
Actually, so-called K1 is a modernized version of Tatra-Jug (Татра-Юг, litterally "Tatra-South") tram car, wich itself is no more, than licenzed T6B5 built by Juzhmash plant (Dnipro[petrovsk] city, Ukraine).
These cars, and some later versions, are working in Ukrainian cities.
Here are some photoes:

Overall, it's a shame how the Tatra - ČKD trams development went after 1985. There are atleast still some companies, which makes clones of those legendary trams:
Škoda (and its subsidiaries) [skoda.cz] are modernizing (which is basically a new vehicle) all sorts of these trams.
Pragoimex [www.pragoimex.cz], which is creating new trams mostly based on classic Tatra trams (I must admit, they are quite good), although they are new designs. Pragoimex is also a creator of the low-floor T3R.PLF: http://prazsketramvaje.cz/view.php?cisloclanku=2007040801
There is another manufacturer here - Inekon [www.inekon.cz], which is also refurbishing Tatra trams, mostly for export though.
These could be actually nice inspirations for your future projects, they would actually fit Cities Skylines even more than the stock versions, because sadly, you cannot go back in time in Cities Skylines.
I know there are some russian companies making new trams based on these aswell. old and AleX_BY created the K-1 for TpF, not sure if it's a real thing (couldn't actually find any info about it using English) which is moreover a modernized T6B5, but what I remember from my lately searches about russian trams, KTM is making some trams still based on T6B5, am I right?
Anyways, I'm looking forward for the KT8D5, good luck with the creation, can't wait to send it down my "high-speed tramtrack" :D
исправлен баг с "летающим пассажиром"!
But I didn't knew what does KT sign mean, thanks!
about my KT8D5 - the model is ready for 90% percents, but it still need a convetation. I hope it will be ready in a week or so.
btw we traveled Moscow-Warsaw-Lodz-Wroclaw-Prague route, so, it was mainly Poland, but I was in Prague five times and I like and know this city qute well for a turist)
There are a lot Russian turists and emmigrants in Prague indeed: we even met a bartender girl from Jekaterinburg, who is studying chemistry in local university.
Anyways, I'm glad you would like to make more Tatra trams and as I've read in different comments - your next work is KT8D5, right? Let me know if you need some info about the vehicles or translating czech sites for you. I'm always glad to help.
Fun fact: KT8D5 was never actually meant to be in Prague, since Prague should have it's own KT8, a KT8A5 (just like the T6), it had narrower front, so these could drive simultaneously in curves. You can't actually do this in Prague with KT8D5. Notice the "KT" sign on the overhead wires, when you get back to Prague sometimes. It means the KT8 driver is forbidden to enter the curve when there is already another tram.
Yep, I would like to make T6A5 (and T6A2 too), but it is not a priority now.
I can't agree with you about T6A5 is more "true" T6 than B5, couse T6B5 was designed in 1983 and T6A5 - only in 1991. Basically, T6A5 is modernised and adapted to Czech tram works verison of T6B5.
The guy in yellow is a passenger of the tram, but he's physically standing outside and he's hitting every building in the way :D.
Btw is there any chance of adjusting this model to make it look like T6A5? This is a T3 with a facelift after all, T6A5 is a true Tatra T6 ;). But do not take this as a beg, i can live without it, just a suggestion.
Crash problems are FIXED!
check HDR setting, some says it should be ON.
Test it with and without HDR, does it crash the game? If it is not, I will try to replace mtl files in T6B5 with T3.
