Nice Getting Greenlit And At PAX I Forgot About It
Tristian the Tricky Nov 25, 2016 @ 3:25pm
i'm so hyped for this game can't wait intill it comes out
⎛⎝Stevepunk⎠⎞ Nov 24, 2016 @ 10:28pm
Also, congrats on getting Greenlit!
⎛⎝Stevepunk⎠⎞ Nov 24, 2016 @ 10:26pm
Compressive_Games if you have a newer version of windows you can try running Terraria in compatibility mode for Windows XP. As for Aura of Worlds I can confirm that it runs on the smallest, oldest, no-name netbook I've ever seen!

Wow! Thanks Dishwalla, ZiNGOT games, Copressive_Games and HellCow for the support!
It's amazing to come back a couple of days later to see more people actively commenting on the project :)!

HellCow: We're interested, we noticed you run a Youtube account online :). We've already tested the last stable build at Pax Australia across over 400 players, so are okay on that front for now.
We are, however, happy to send media folk updated builds in advance before we hit Early Access mid-next year though :D!
I'm wondering though, the email on the account mentioned on your channel looks a little bit different:

ZiNGot Games: Thankyou :). we saw your game Jetpack Jake; your mobile physics platformer seems cool. Looking forward to its release on Android!
Cognitive Forge  [author] Nov 23, 2016 @ 1:08pm
(2nd part of reply - need to split comment due to character limit)

Compressive_Games: we've tested the project on laptops that are over 6 years old so we're confident that the minimum specs are low enough to run on most computers (so long as OpenGL 3.3+ and maybe GLSL 1.2+ are supported). We've even had reports that the game runs on Wine for Mac (though we still want a mac port without needing assistance with a third party library).
HellCow (HC) Nov 23, 2016 @ 12:06pm
Hey, if your interested i coud promote your game or/and if you need/want i can test the game.
Also i can get some more testers if necesary, Add me if interested in steam or send me a mail:

Cognitive Forge  [author] Nov 20, 2016 @ 9:27pm
Thanks Kingdoomer and Krathor for your support :D.

P.s. Our coder (Anthony a.k.a. "glider"), says that he remembers you from doing some volunteer work for Rock Paper Shotgun's community Terraria earlier this year :)
Tristian the Tricky Nov 18, 2016 @ 1:48pm
well now i have another reason to start throwing bags of money at peoples door step this game here looks very promising
Krathor Nov 18, 2016 @ 7:20am
Looking forward to seeing this! :D
Cognitive Forge  [author] Nov 17, 2016 @ 9:43pm
Thanks Dannz0r for the kind words and for checking out the build at PAX.

Also thanks to IceFrost for putting our game on the "Games that should be greenlit" list.

So far we've had a very positive response from comments and from players at events.
Our main problem right now is that only a few people are aware that this project even exists.

We're looking to link to the project on other platforms like Reddit, IndieGameDB and Twitter to try and counter this.
If you like the campaign, please share the project.
Thanks for your support so far!
Dannz0r Nov 14, 2016 @ 3:02pm
a real fascinating game to play pushing some fast paced problem solving at times ... or you know, you get hurt. it was fun to play this at PAX AUS in the indie dev section. cant wait to play it again :steamhappy:
Cognitive Forge  [author] Nov 12, 2016 @ 2:44am
Thanks eversio, it was great to meet you; thanks for playing our game at PAX :D!

Also thanks Yuan Works, I saw your project on Greenlight to "Wind And Water: Puzzle Battles Online"; it looked like a cool puzzle/bejeweled game (upvoted).
eversio Nov 10, 2016 @ 1:24pm
I also got to play this briefly at PAX Aus and really liked it :beatmeat:
Yuan Works Nov 9, 2016 @ 10:29pm
The ability to play with the terrain in a worms-like is something I haven't seen in platformers and it looks like a nice addition! Very creative :)
Cognitive Forge  [author] Nov 9, 2016 @ 1:25am
Thanks for your support Max_ and somethingcool! :)

Max_ it was great to meet you at PAX; thanks for playing the game!
Played it at PAX Aus, loved it. Had to get off it so others could play it. can't wait for a steam release
mikehobbit Nov 7, 2016 @ 1:39pm
Like it
Cognitive Forge  [author] Nov 7, 2016 @ 3:49am
@Ravenwoods: Thanks man :D!

@Elabalus: Sorry to hear you feel that way.
Could you please be specific as to what you're not a fan of? The graphics, sound, a mechanic, level theme, hazard or terrain generation?

There aren't many roguelike platformers on the market and many of those that are focus on stat grinding or over-rely on luck. One way we differentiate ourselves is by focusing more on world manipulation and using unconventional equipment to overcome a wide array of different challenges. The trailer shows much less than half of the game content.
Ravenwoods Nov 7, 2016 @ 3:32am
Can't wait, this game is pretty fun and with a lot of tough challenges!:steamhappy:
Elagabalus Nov 7, 2016 @ 12:32am
Looks pretty mediocre frankly. Sorry.
Cognitive Forge  [author] Nov 6, 2016 @ 9:33pm
Thanks @MixMatch and @Kiko!

@MixMatch it was great to meet you at PAX :D!
MixMatch Nov 5, 2016 @ 9:53pm
After playing thr game at Pax Aus I cant wait for this to get a steam release somewhere along the line. A charming art style and a bunch of cool mechanics make this roguelike incredibly compelling and fun to play. Can't wait to hear more on the future of its development.
Kiko Nov 5, 2016 @ 4:33pm
This game looks amazing! I'll be sure to play this game if it gets greenlighted :steamhappy:
Cognitive Forge  [author] Nov 5, 2016 @ 12:38pm
Thanks Jaster, Darth Elmo, Bleepmap & Auntie Loo!

Apologies for the delay in response, have been occupied exhibiting the game at PAX Australia over the last two days.

@Auntie Loo Thanks for coming down to play our game! It was great to meet you :)!
@Darth Elmo: You're from Melbourne? Awesome :D. Sandbox games like Starbound and Terraria are definitely among the influences; though we focus a lot more on the improvisation side and manipulating the environment to your advantage on the fly. Also Yes the game is our master XD!
Auntie Loo Nov 4, 2016 @ 11:40pm
Checked out you guys at PAX today, doing a bang up job. Good luck and hope to play soon!
Bleepmap Nov 4, 2016 @ 3:36am
Love me some temple themed procedural generated platformers, if you know what I 'm saying.
Jaster Mereel Nov 3, 2016 @ 1:36pm
Looks like a fun game. Upvoted!
LUFTRAUSR Nov 3, 2016 @ 11:14am
Looks good, watched the first 30 seconds and it reminds me of Starbound. Also I heard you are going to demo the game at PAX in Aus... which is cool cuz I was born there, I LIVE IN THE UK THOUGH, shame... the game looks really good tho, keep up the good work . minioun
Cognitive Forge  [author] Nov 3, 2016 @ 5:52am
Thanks James, Windybeard and n_s_r.

We're also looking to demonstrate the game at PAX Australia over the next 3 days. If anyone happen to be in Melbourne feel free to drop by and play :).
James Logan 87 Nov 3, 2016 @ 3:24am

Loving the art style. Looks cool
Cognitive Forge  [author] Nov 2, 2016 @ 6:29pm
Thanks Adrian and Steven!

Yeah the old character art had been bothering us for months too! Spent multiple days in the redesign phase before green light :).
⎛⎝Stevepunk⎠⎞ Nov 2, 2016 @ 6:17pm
I love the look of the main character. Also the level with the white blocks and green foliage. Looks great for Alpha! I can't wait to see how this develops further!
AGENT DALE COOPER Nov 2, 2016 @ 5:42pm
Looks awesome good work with it all!! (It's Adrian BTW)
Cognitive Forge  [author] Nov 2, 2016 @ 4:49pm
@Skoardy: Thanks for the heads up. I got an automated message similar to what you described when we contacted them. Won't be going with them.
@cosair: Thankyou :)
Skoardy Nov 2, 2016 @ 4:42pm
@Cognitive Forge - Their 'generous offer' involves you giving them money and them mentioning you on their hugely mislabelled 'Greenlight's Best Games' Steam group - basically a great way to advertise your desperation, willingness to cheat through Greenlight using boosters and for your game to be seen shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the worst games on Greenlight.
corsair Nov 2, 2016 @ 4:40pm
I wish this game success.Adding in favorite
