Comrade modder!
Please port your mods to WoTC. Your mods are far better than those we have - as those simply "port" Mass Effect weapons, while your mods are actually real mods with all that colour support and adaptation for XCOM.

I'd love to see these updated. There's other ME mods available for the DLC but they're not as good as these weapons here. HD textures, lovely sounds, and you can COLOR the guns! Huzzah!

I know this mod (even though he's since gotten the actual DLC) was compatible with WOTC without the DLC, you could talk to him if you ever want to update these and still don't want the DLC.

I got a strange bug. So the M8 shows in the inventory and is marked as infinite but if I equip it on one character it disapears for others.

All weapon and class mods seem to currently crash WOTC. On that note, kind of curious as to whether or not this will be getting a release or fix for that as well, I was enjoying it.

If so, PLEASE (!!!) keep in Mind that an Update (WOTC) makes this fine MOD unplayable for ALL XCom2-Players, who will not add WOTC !!

A second, separate MOD-Release (if done) of this is the Solution - I guess !

Hey Jill. I didnt do extra tiers because im not sure how to with LW2 specifically. So rather than do something and do it bad, I just left it for now. In any case the weapons can be edited for LW2 using the LW2config ini. Gimme a min and Ill check what needs doing.

i just started playing LW2 after a long break from xcom2. unfortunately the LW2 fix for this mod does not work. i just researched laser tier weapon and in engineer there is no option to build laser tier equivalent m8 avenger. so i looked into the config files, it seems that the 2nd tier ( laser) and 4th tier ( coil ) weapons are completely missing in your mod. your mod only still has 3 tiers of vanilla xcom 2 weapons. whereas LW2 has 5 tiers.

worse is that now i'm stuck, because 2 alternative options also don't work:

1. using a laser rifle and trying to change the skin to avenger with xskin doesn't work on laser rifles. and i assume it won't work on coil weapons either.

2. trying to change the stats for the base ballistic tier avenger in the config ini doesn't work either.

so right now my LW2 mass effect run is completely stopped, and i refuse to use default LW2 weapons on my ME characters.

can you please look into this ? thanks :)

AoD_lexandro I was wondering if you would be willing to make a Cheat verison of your Mass Effect guns( like 46 base damage) I ask because im making ME character and all your weapons have the same 4-6 damage even the M98 and im just screwing around in the game enjoying my time

SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\268500 is where the games mods are located with Steam. 755842209 is this Avenger mod, in the "Config" folder there is a file called Config_M8AVENGER. You can edit all the stats in that file.

@Wanering Mania - A cheat version isnt required. You can edit the weapon stats to your hearts content in the weapons INI file.

I have a minor request. I have moded most of my ini files to have all the default weapons to be, well as most would say 'OP as hell'. By that I mean the basic starter weapons have 49-51 damg 100% aim and 100% crit. Same with all the other advanced wepontry.

My request is is there a chance you might concider making a "cheaters" version for us who want to play the game for fun, rather than, well 'deal with the bull crap that Firaxis put in'.

And before any one says it, yes I cheat in my own single player games, not like it's hurting any one.

Updated with another patch for Lw2 mod users. This should make the avenger a buildable item, instead of an infinite starter item. This means it can be traded at the blackmarket. Also corrected the number of slots for weapon attachments for Lw2.

I'm loving your ME mods. Any plans to do the Tempest or any other SMG? It's the only XCOM weapon so far I can't adapt to the ME style. Thanks!

Hey peeps Ive just updated the mod to correct the grimmy loot bug. They should now pop from boxes properly.

I have also attempted a first fix for LW2. Please let me know if it fixes the "no upgrades" issue.

I believe that "ME3 weapons XSkin enabler mod" (click last link in description) repairs your problem. In my game ME weapons behave exatly like normal Long War weapons, but, you know, with different skin. :)

These weapons all start at 1/2/3 attachments per level, with the option of 4 at t3 when using the global attachment perk.

If you want more, you can add extra slots in the mods config file.

As for the laser tier, no I wont be updating weapons to it.

Can you give these weapons an upgrade for the Long War 2 mod? In LW2, all weapons have 3 attachement slots I believe, but these Mass Effect weapons only have one. There's also a laser weapon tier that they can't be upgraded to.

Other than that, awesome work.

AoD_lexandro, These rifles are amazing. So amazing, that it's a little jarring when one of my soldier draws a stock XCOM2 pistol after firing one of them. If you ever feel the need to mod more weapons, one of Shepard's pistols would be wonderful.

I believe there are a few modders already working on SW stuffs. Hence the Twylek mod, and a few others. Check the workshop, im sure there is a few SW mods.
