I like how it makes convenient parks in thin areas, and how it levels off edges. Also looks nice.

Sorry, I can't change the way the game behaves. I agree that it would look better without the extra ground.

I dont seem yo be able to remove all of the ground in front of the asset?

Do you have a corner please?

@MrMiyagi: Thanks!

These are great! Thanks for making the smaller one, too! :)

Thank you

The small version is finally ready! I also updated this one, very small cosmetic changes only.

@ SaintDamien: I will upload a shorter version in a couple of days.
SaintDamien Sep 23, 2016 @ 2:51pm
Would you still like to consider a 1 or 2 piece segment ?
BrowncoatTrekky Sep 19, 2016 @ 12:00pm
@niis-ku Understood. Thanks. Hopes someone does.

And thank you everyone, this little thing has become much more popular than I expected :)

@BrowncoatTrekky: Sorry, this is the only version. The only way I think it would be possible to make corners and bends is including the road in the asset, but such assets are difficult to place in the game (in my experience, the built-in road tries to snap somewhere and usually not where you would like it). If someone knows a better way, that gives a user-friendly result, please tell me!

Hey. Looks good. Look forward to trying out. Do you have corners or versions of this asset?
SonOfNitrous Sep 16, 2016 @ 5:38pm
many thx for your reply!)
Cheers!

@SonOfNitrous: Ok, now I understand. If you want something like GCVos's walls, this model cannot do it. Tair's Waterfront Walkway is similar to this one, but I believe the difference is the "flatten terrain" option. My walkway flattens it. If the game is told not to flatten terrain, then it creates grey concrete under the asset like in Tair's screenshots, which is Ok. However, this doesn't always work out very well if the terrain is very steep or bumpy. My walkway needs perfectly flat terrain, because the texture is just a few centimeters above ground and any little bump will destroy it. That's why I'll keep it as it is. You can try to make your own custom copy with the asset editor with option flatten terrain -> no, if you want to.

@SonOfNitrous: If an asset uses the template of fishing pier/marina/ etc, then it always requires water and must be partly on water (as far as I know). I experimented with those templates when I made the Rocky Shore Swim Club, and they were very tricky = that probably would not work well. With those pier templates, the orientation is towards the sea, not along the shoreline...At the moment it cannot hang up in the air / on water, and I have no idea how it could be turned into that. As far as I know the game always places firm ground, only the pier assets that came with After dark are an exception. I would have to make a new model for a pier version.

can it be converted to be a walkway for canals? Atm it creates ground when it's placed.
Mb it could be reimported based on other's "near-water" templates?

Would you also add a 1 or 2 segment wide part? to fill out some gaps ?
niis-ku  [author] Aug 27, 2016 @ 11:48am
Added some screenshots :)
niis-ku  [author] Aug 27, 2016 @ 7:12am
@ HatsuneKid: it really doesn't have very interesting shapes or textures, so I will not add that many screenshots. Added one screenshot from other direction, and I'll try to get one from above later.

We need other angles of the module. eg: 45°, 135°, 90°, 150°, 60°...
