Most likely....eventually. I'm working in SE at the moment, polishing my big quest mod, so I'm in that realm but I have to finish the BETA testing first. Truly with my current workload, it might be closer to the latter part of the year. Thanks for checking it out:D
Vielen Dank für Ihre freundlichen Worte. Der Schlüssel befindet sich in der Urne direkt hinter der Tür zur Schatzkammer.
Thank you to everyone who has used and enjoyed this mod. It was a watershed piece for me. I really like to play it still. At this point I could really improve on the walking mannequins and spider building....one day I shall return.
Found the backdoor! Thanks! Was surprised to find so many jars of alchemy ingredients in the tinkerer's "secret" room, and glowing mushrooms in the cave that I could use!! You really loaded that place up with so many goodies!! I do wish that in the basement were more containers for additional ingots/ore (moonstone, malachite, orichalcum, silver, gold...), moreso for the visual cues, since I have to remember things.
But don't get me wrong, it's BEAUTIFUL!! More than I could have ever hoped for in the first dragonborn home! I could go on about so many things that I loved but I don't want to take up so much space!
TLDR: The "Smolder No More" toggle is on the ground floor, on the outer left of the fireplace.
The backdoor is located beyond the hidden door in the secret room. The key is in the urn by the door to the treasure room. And now can't remember what the "Smolder No More" toggle is...where is it again?
I meant to write back sooner and then got side tracked. I don't know quite what to say....it's busy with the three kids not in school. Miri just graduated from grade 8 and it was underwhelming to say the least, though her friend came by with a balloons and cake. That was nice. James never stopped working so money is okay, but I had to cancel the opening of my gallery space, the drawing group I host, painting commissions and that was depressing. Fortunately the funding for a mural just came through, so I'll spend at least half the summer doing that. I discovered I'm actually an extrovert...all this social distancing makes me sad. Can't go to church...the theatre...the pub..the art supply store. On the upside, I've been working hard on my big quest mod, with marypele's help, because the computer is the only window to the world beyond the few streets of my neighbourhood. I miss my Dad too.
How about you? What 's it like for you?
Thank you for asking about the mod. My problem is I haven't made the transition over to SE as a player, and my long term Skyrim friends still mostly play Oldrym too. I've ported things over as favours. I think this mod would be a worthy addition to the SE library, and could do it eventually, but I'm consumed with a big quest mod (which I will release to both). Unfortunately porting is more time consuming than you might imagine: I have to redo all the weapon racks! And there are a few things I can improve on too...
I appreciate the feedback. This was one of my earliest mods and I don't think I'll be messing around with it. My newest 'Honeyside: Keeping a Low Profile has the oven and the, shall we say, deviant elements, are not apparent. At the moment it's "Friends only" in a custom version, (made for a friend), but you are more than welcome to 'friend" me and try it out. It's homey and comfortable.
This was the first mod I published that is still active, and there are a few oddities. The vanilla clutter does roll if you had already owned Breezehome and subbed in mid-play. Happens with most modded vanilla. Just pick it up and dispose of it.
The mannequins do move a bit. This I should probably correct at some point, but as you see, it's a very old mod.
If the beds are intersecting with anything, make sure you have a clean save to begin with. (when my spawn play with it, they usually have some other Breezehome mod running and need to remove it.)
The 'secret' test chest was put there for a Player on request who had flubbed and need to restock the treasure they had lost. Please just ignore it. That's why it's semi-hidden.
Hope this helps.:)
All clutter was scattered to oblivion. Child's beds were intersecting and the little toys on the ground were inside the beds also.
The downstairs was nice and pretty, however seemed a little OP to leave the Test Chests laying around with free Wabbajacks, Dragon Priest masks, Skeleton key, staves, etc.
All around the mod seems like it would be good, but there are just too many problems I see at first. Perhaps a fresh game would fix all these errors, but I'd rather not. 4 stars.
With the RAM? ha, ha, ha....James would agree. He wanted to put in 64. I seem to remember having a computer that had 64 gig of memory....
ThadeusCalvin is my nom de plume...ha..ha I originally needed something with which to sign onto Nexus and my name was taken or too long...can't remember correctly... this is the name of a character in a story I wrote. Awkward once I started posting mods, because I couldn't change my handle. So I guess most people on Nexus assume I'm a guy.
I'm back (again) and I know you will share my sense of celebration: my husband has just built me a big fat computer with 32 gig of RAM, and 6 gig on the video card. I can actually play SE.
I probably should, shouldn't ....it's my favourite mod to use in play-throughs.
I know you always wanted a source of water...
Thanks, I found the way in. Thanks for replying, though.
Please excuse the slow reply,
The key to the secret door is in the glazed urn right inside the doorway to the treasure room, on the shelf to your right. You choose your type of secret room you want there.
Sorry for the late reply. January was just overwhelming....The back door key often falls onto the floor below the peg: look there!
Glad you like the mod, but the basement is the main event! The covered enterance is most likely caused by a mod conflict. See Kirori below for example. Try LOOT if you're not already usung it to help with order..after that look at anything that might affect Breezehome.
Thanks for taking the time to write. It was a watershed mod for me and it made living in Whiterun so much better. In my newest home , Honeyside, I did have the children's room swap out to a follower's abode. It's something to think about.
If the floor is covering the stairs down, I'm guessing it's a mod conflict or you don't have it far enough down in your load order. Do you have any other mods affecting Breezehome? Are you using LOOT? Try load order first!
once you've clicked on the blue download button, click on :
LOOT.Installer.exe
on the next page and then click "Run" . The installer will give you the prompts.
Here's the website freault:
https://loot.github.io/
the cheat chest is right there just for such an emergency: it looks like a tiny box, hidden under the basement desk, on the right.
Thanks! Glad you like the mod. I really like the secret room in a tight space. Gotta keep the kids away from your vampiric/Werewolf alter-ego.
Thank you very much! I'm glad you like it. I was a real break-through for me. The navamesh nearly killed me! LOL bit it was also my first (non-human) follower and that was fun. Clink is the best!
You're welcome :) Thanks for trying it out and taking the time to write.
