What happened to this game?!?!??!?!?!?!?!
Hamakei Dec 14, 2018 @ 2:15pm
Looks like it was never released. Over 2 years since the last comment from the dev :(

How can you play this today?

I loved ANKH / 64 rooms - adventure in a metareal world. I had a bootleg version that I came to know every inch of. Later I found an official copy that had a few more puzzles, but still love that first work in progress version I had played for decades. :) :steamhappy:Hit me up if you need a beta tester, exciting stuff.

I got a chance to play this at GDC and it was absolutely amazing. Hitting a good balance between brain-busting and never feeling unfair or frustraiting is amazingly hard, but this game does it better than almost any I've seen.

I played this at GDC, and was blown away by it. Definitely the best game (for me) at the megabooth.

The puzzles are real brain burners, but I never felt stuck, and the environment is super fun to just mess around in, so maybe that helped when I was in the same room for the third time trying to get it right.

Without spoiling anything, the intro (basically the demo I played) does something with controls for a game that I've never seen before.

As a fan of first person puzzle games, as well as the minimalist (abstract) aesthetic, this is a HUGE yes from me, and I'll be following the development eagerly.

Thanks for the comment, @Hamekei, Linux on the To-do list for sure, and very doable.

I'd love to buy this Linux support :(

If you want to get the effect you're going for in the trailer, you need to get a British guy to read those captions.
This sort of game is more suited to rather than Steam.

Sorry for spamming my own board, have to share the translations from the !English posts below:

Jest bardzo ciekawa i mi sie podoba -- It is very interesting and I do like <== :steamhappy:

сложность -- complexity <== Made my day :)

Thanks for the votes, especially the "Yes" ones!

Aaron -- the game uses a realtime synthesizer, and most of the sounds/music will be generative, sometimes correlated with in-game mechanisms. The track on the trailer was made offline, but that kind of layer-ey loop-ey style will be present...

Longsword -- Good call! There's definitely some Descent in it, I loved the 3d maze aspect.

Congrats putting this up on Greenlight. Kinda reminds of Descent but with puzzles, I guess. Kinda hard to tell what this game is about. Thumbs up.

It looks like a yes! :)

Is the music canned or generated?
My long-standing goal is to play more video games, and I'm eager to try this one.

This looks beautiful.

Thanks @Tikiti, that's my fear too! :) It's been an interesting design challenge, to "bring it forward" in ways that are, hopefully, interesting, engaging, and playable today but capture a droplet of yesterday. Inspired muchly because I've found recent games that I love.
whatwhatwhat Mar 12, 2016 @ 12:16pm
It looks like an up to date revamping of something created in The 3d Construction Kit
Tikiti Mar 12, 2016 @ 12:13pm
Well, I don't know about this one, looks tricky. The backstory is cool and the game seems interesting enough, mysterious. But on the other side I fear this will be tailored to a very small niche audience who were born before 1984 and pirated games and came across this gem in the process. Anyway, good luck.

I love abstractive, colourful geometric games. So this is a yes.
