does this not work in LWOTC?

Is there any way to get this to work with LWOTC? This mod is just too good.

Great mod, loving it, but now my promotions from rookie totally ignore what I've set soldiers to be. IE I have one that was a Ranger but is now a sharpshooter. Didn't get a chance to train her up. Also a couple of psi soldiers that are now just ordinary soldiers.

Does this work with Long War of the Chosen?

Thanks for the mod - really useful and it makes sense in-universe. Like you'd be training if you weren't on-mission.

so the mod isnt showing up in my AML even though im subscribed to it and its not in my game

This mod is in my QOL/Mandatory list. I set it to .25% and exclude rookies.
I use CI for my campaigns and it works great.

i love this mod so far, but i suspect there is a bug. I am using rpgo, and when soldiers get promoted due to this mod, they do not get stat points (for development of natural attributes eg. aim, dodge, etc) unlike soldiers who get promoted naturally after missions. I currently manually go to affected units to use commands manually to fix this issue.

For me this mod stops working after some missions and I can't figure out any way to fix it. Anyone with same issue?

Supposedly this mod can trigger unwanted Class promotions with rpgo? There a way to setup so the "level up outside missions" only triggers for soldiers that are not a rookie? I imagine if I remove "rookie gains XP". It would only make it so once they promote on mission they'll get a class picked out of mission. I really like the stacking promotions from idle training in my setup.
Just a pain when rookies start becoming random.

Love the mod. No long war. But exp gain for non combat troops is way too much.
Slimmed it down to 0.2, just a little bit of taste that they would get from hearing stories after combat.

@LeoArcticaa afaik this still works, so likely a mod conflict. Check with the Alternative Mod Launcher [github.com], it detects conflicts for you

This mod causes my game to crash when I try to load a save.

Maybe its a mod conflict of mine or maybe its just too old now.

Appears not to work with LWotC. After playing a while with no promotions outside missions I installed Show me the XP.

I wrote down the XP before and after a mission and no one outside the missiion got XP.

Appears to partially work with LWotC --- however, the rookie xp feature doesn't. The xp it gives does indeed go towards [non-rookie] troops outside the mission, yet its not as fast as non-LW modded games.

There must be something about how they modded Long War that makes leveling up a bit slower.

One of the config files shows expected kills to promote up, yet there may be another variable I'm not accounting for that could speed the process up more.

How do I get this to work with LWotC?

Anybody that knows how to get this mod to work with LWotC, can you please give us a simple explanation of how to get it to work? I’m definitely not smart enough to figure it out on my own, and I really would like this for my rookies.

Regarding LWOTC when a soldier is promoted to a class they seem to gain xp like normal but rookies are not even though it's clearly checked in the options.

@JohnFire as far as I know there's nothing to update. I just used this in a campaign a few months ago and it still worked.

I set it to 10%, and rookie promotion is enabled, but my rookies are still at 0/1 XP after missions?

@God Syndrome I recommend unchecking ROOKIES and Units can level up outside of missions under your mod settings.

Any way to make it work correctly with RPGO? When my soldiers gain level up not during the mission, they don't get the stat points.

Is anyone else having an issue where you can't train psi ops in the psi lab and can't rank any up with console commands?

I noticed the stat point xp bug as well... but i think I kind of like it if unintended. Keeps me rotating my soldiers into combat.YMMV since I have my xp bonus set to only 10 percent anyway.

Just found a bug with musashi RPGO.
Don't get stat point when soldier level up with exp from this mod.
