And in the final part completely amazing. I advise you to play at a high level and very wisely. Congratulations to the author.
I also found a few bugs and things that most certainly not good design decisions:
- In the first or second part of the dungeon there is a wall to your right which is a few units off so that you can see through (I forgot the exact position, sorry)
- You can pull the two draugr to you and ignore the mechanic of having to use a torch.
- In the fight with the many draugr you can just go back behind the door you came through, close it to heal. When the draugr open it, just close it again.
- The lich after the fight against the many draugr is not leveled and really easy for high-level characters.
- The lich doesn't follow the draugr into the fight.
- The draugr in the "throneroom" just walked into a corner and didn't put up a fight.
- You can knock the dremora off the platform with your shouts. Then you can walk back through the teleporter, rest and knock the next one off.
- There is a typo in the ancient journal. "have have" I think.
There were two things that really annoyed me:
- In the beginning there are many small enemies "hidden" behind elevated ground. This can be bad for sneaky characters.
- There was a whole lot of walking in the labyrinth because the tiles were so big.
I played the mod with a level 71 character on maximum difficulty. It had the most difficult fight in all of the time I played Skyrim. This mod was the challenge Miraak could not provide for me. The dungeons were not too long and not too short either. I loved it, thank you.
People with arachnophobia should not play this mod though.
I really liked the fight against the two draugr, which, at least in my playthrough both had bows. Combined with the need to use torch, they wrecked me. But the fight against the 10 or so draugr a bit later was way harder. All of them were draugr death lords after all. But the lich went down after just 3 hits. Still it felt satisfying after going through hell before that. In this mod, my torch became my best friend. Having to NOT use it for a while was awesome.
need more like this to keep me on my toes
many thanks
All's well now. I thought the quest would begin when we read the book from the first dead imperial we find. I went further into the dungeon and found the real quest starting book. I'm actually coding a website right now that's mostly targeted for mod authors and newly released mods. Make no mistake, I'm not trying to replace Steam or Nexus. Just want to do something for modders that would like to have more options to show their work. I'm no modder, and don't plan on becoming one. My specialty is web development. So think of this as my way of giving something back to the community from which I've enjoyed so much of. If by now you're asking yourself "Well wth are you telling me then?" I'm saying if you want a spot on this website, you got it.
Anyway I'll reccomend to use the Nexus one because it's updated. Unfortunately I cant upload ESM file on the workshop :(
So unsubscribe this one, download from the Nexus and the restart the game from a savegame prior the installation of the mod.
I did this dungeon myself with a pure destrucion caster with the skills at 100 with properly perks and I was level 78.
Fixed...
