My question was about being able to run this mod without Steam. I own the game & I have the mod in the mod folder; most Steam Workshop mods will, still, run without being logged into Steam; but not this one.
Curious, as unless one is running this game through Steam, the mod will not run. thank you
I hate Steam...sometimes. :)
A) Do you know if I can package only my changes and load those on top of your mod? How do I ensure the correct load order?
B) If not, do I have your permission to publish it stand-alone as a Renaissance variant while giving you full credit for 99% of the work?
Here's a question/suggestion. Is there any way(or plan) to import the font of Warlock 1? Can I modify some files with a text editor or copy/paste some files? I think warlock 1 font is more recognizable and looking good especially for my weak vision.
Honestly, I'm afraid you'll have to make your changes via trial and error. I know that's tedious, but I'm not sure how else you can do it.
It feels so good, knowing that I have Warlock Renaissance in my game library. At some point I'll need to once again set up proper gamepad controls for this game and play it on my handheld. It worked pretty well last time.
Enjoy!
Problem, I uninstalled the game at some point and I don't have my version of the mod anymore. So I followed the instructions from 2019 again and this time the .pack files downloaded by that site don't seem to have the data.xr, viewdata.xr, or locdata.xr files I need to rename to access the mod. Unpacking them seems to just produce a bunch of images from the game. Any advice?

I do experience a crash or two in just about every game I play, though it's truly rare that a game is ruined because of a crash. Often reloading is enough, and when it's not, a workaround usually does the trick.
