Ok so what i did was the following:
1. Went into MOD Builder and created a decal pack. (Set the paths etc.)
2. Got the OKW decals template.
3. Converted it to a PNG. file and uploaded it to an online version of photoshop.
4. Added a new layer, painted the new decals on the new layer over the top of the old decals.
5. Painted over the old decals with black and merged the other layer with it.
6. Converted it back into a TGA. file.
7. Replaced the default.dif (or something) with the edited one.
8. Set the Java and F.SDK paths and done.
Then i built the mod and when i go into my CoH2 and look in my OKW race inventory... my decal pack wasn't there?
I also looked in Mod Hub - Manager it wasn't there either?
Just wondering if I've done something wrong because i can't find help anywhere on the internet.
Please reply back soon...
I follow steps as in wiki -
creating mod folder and stuff but i dont get options like seen on template
and how i must create art path, extract it from sga files like a new mod or how?
Can we somehow contact you, or make support group in steam!?
the idea with the custom decals is in general not bad but who like or use custom decals which are only shown in dumb Teamcolours on vehicles?
Maybe you have to accept sometimes not all COH 2 players are kids between 14 and 20 years some really old players play that game too but they dont like it so coloured as in its current state.
yeah sorry i did not write it correct some entity blueprints of tanks like for example ISU and Elefant have an integrated decal which can not be removed but can be set to only white with a special setting in the ebps some others like Tiger I an external decal which can be completely removed with the same setting so the effect is all Teamcolours are removed. Which vehicles use an internal and external decal can be seen if you place them in the ui editor. I made it in my Mod this way with the effect the ....... Teamcolours are removed.
@Relic Content: well then we shall wait again, for even better tools and possibilities
you can disable all vehicle decals with the effect the Teamcolours are removed from all ai and human player tanks, paks, etc. but i dont want to tell the solution how this works here in public.
i might have one question to you: i really like some of the standard decals shown on the vehicles but NOT combined with Teamcolours. If i am right the decals should be shown on vehicles if you set entity appearance to true but if you set it to true you have always the decals in Teamcolours so i set it to false because it simply looks much better so my question is is there a way to switch on the standard vehicle decals on the vehicles but ONLY in white WITHOUT Teamcolours?
Thanks
