What causes IF and Compa to spawn? I got IF but have no idea what caused her to appear, as I've had 3 games as Nepgear and she never showed up before.

Does the conquest sword bonus to your palace actualy work and it doesn't show? Also. that's just mean forcing you to go after city states as well

I'm only getting 1 Hammer for Planeptune on a hill with only having the Nepgear mod turned on and the Neptunia Essentials. Is this a balancing of the Civ?

One question about Conquest, what is exactly the reward you get for killing the targets the Sword marks for you? I just do it for the fun of it, but I would like to know.

Are you planning to do Tari civ as a continuation to HDN modding? It would be great to have that. Currently existing Tari mod doesnt have Rei as unit and thus disappointing.

I may not be making a new civ for a long time, if ever. I've already made so many that I don't feel I've really got much left to explore on that front. Most of what I'll be doing now is updating what I've already made.

Fun fact: I utterly forgot I made that event for Lancer. When I first read that comment I was like "What? Is that a thing?"

The way both mods are currently coded, the Gehaburn's Sword Thirst event indeed will no longer trigger against his Ireland. Having said that, if you conquer everyone but him with the Gehaburn, you will almost certainly have no trouble beating him to a spaceship.

I dunno if that's something worth to be mentioned, but while playing Nepgear, I took the Gehaburn "yeah silly me" and got a Marriage Event with Diarmuid from Fate Zero. After reading about Nepgear's event, I'm a bit concerned if it probably breaks the save if the sword forces to declare war on Ireland despite being locked on permanent peace.

This is because technically, every Sharicite unit is a UU for Purple Sister, and the game pulls from the entire database of UUs when determining what to give militaristic city-states. I'm going to look into a better way of doing this which doesn't cause other issues.

Yeah, but then you'd never get to use it. Games are almost always decided long before GDRs come into play.

@Dognut with some testing, it seems that defeated and recalled to life Nepgear cannot declare war on any major civs she was already at war with because of the sword (because the button isn't reset), nor can they declare war on her. However she can declare war on anyone the sword didn't target before.

If the sword tries to make a vassalized Nepgear declare war, the event will fire... and C4DF will instantly force peace since vassals can't declare war. If a vassalized Nepgear is set free, she cannot declare war on anyone the sword targeted before, but again she can declare war on anyone new.

@Era Military City states can gift UUs. If you have the technology to build a vanilla unit, it's possible to be gifted a Unique replacement instead. As long as Nepgear is installed (she doesn't even need to be PLAYING, just installed), any units only she (or Purple Sister) can make are possible gifts.

Things get really wacky if you finish the patronage tree, because its finisher allows City States to gift Great People. This includes unique great people - in an unmodded game, a city-state can gift you a Merchant of Venice if you have Venice installed. If you have mods that have Civs with unique great people, anyone with the patronage finisher can be gifted them. I've been gifted Great Game Devs before.

@Toad_004 For me whenever Nepgear is eliminated and revived, she seems to lose her ability to declare war. Her declare war button is gone, and no one can declare war on her. I'm using C4DF as well.

Heh, I came up with a strange way around an AI Nepgear taking the sword. It requires CBP (technically C4DF - not sure if stand-alone C4DF would work or not).

If AI Nepgear took the sword and is declaring war all over the place - but hasn't declared war on *YOU* yet, simply get Nepgear to voluntarily become your vassal (she's near certain to be losing badly in this situation, so it shouldn't be too hard). Once she becomes your vassal, she'll be forced to copy your peace/war status and there's nothing the sword can do about it. Not sure if setting her free would resume the sword's thirst as Nepgear in my specific game had no desire to ever stop being my vassal.

Also, if AI Nepgear is outright eliminated and then "Recalled to life" (by capturing and then liberating a city that was founded by Nepgear), it will reset her status with every nation to "peace"... but the sword will simply start declaring wars again.

Well, not only did I mistakenly set the chance to 15%...but this 15% chance rolls twice (one for each of the options which allows for taking the sword), and I had a pretty atrocious understanding of probability at the time. I will be patching Nepgear next after I do some adjustments to Neptune. The Conquest event line will be reworked, and AIs will take it much less often, to make it actually seem like the "oh crap" moment I wanted it to be.

Vice Virtuoso, you said earlier that the chance of Nepgear taking the sword was 10%, but in every game of mine she's been in, she took the sword except for one Time. Is there somethingwrong on my end or is it the mod?

You must be Nepgear (not PS) and the Armor unit must be garrisoned in the city. The action will then appear like a worker build action.

Hey Vice! Appreciate your work on the mods! I'm just having one issue, none of the neptunia civs pictures are showing up when they talk to me, and I was wondering if you knew some kind of fix for this. Other than that they're working great. I've tried deleting and reloading each of them and that hasn't fixed it, but yea if you've got any clue on what to do to fix this let me know, thanks!

The Core Files references Superpower, so by definition all of the other mods will reference it. Generally, this is all that's needed to make Superpower work unless you want to do something like make certain units not cause population decreases when killed.

Love all of these, fantastic mods :blanc: I have noticed that while playing as Nepgear in a game with all the other Hyperdimension civ's, the dialouge box will display a message that was clearly meant to be said to another cpu, for example Uni denounced me and in the message mentioned something about wondering why i had gone and set up another lastation and if i didnt join hers then i would be considered an enemy. Other than that though no problems, good job :blanc:

Last time I tried making peace with city states,
It blocked me from doing so. Might have to do with what (if any) mods are in use which change the city state popup screen.
And yes, manually declaring war still lets you make peace as long as the sword isn't pining for that leaders blood.
I'll look into the issue with the improvement.

It seems like you can still make peace with city-states if Gehaburn makes you go to war with them. (You can also make peace with civilizations you went to war with without Gehaburn forcing you to, but that seems more likely deliberate.) Also, the tech expo staging grounds seem to remove production from they tiles they're on.

when i download the mod, no matter how many times i open and close the game the the download file stays the same and it wont work, yet all the other ones work fine, it just stays as the civ5mod file, while the others unpack and work do you have a direct download link

If Events & Decisions is active and she took the Gehaburn (the AI has a 10% chance of deciding to keep it), then her war declarations are permanent. The only way you will bring about any peace is through the complete elimination of either you or Nepgear!

So what's the deal with Nepgear suddenly deciding to declare war? I understand it's to "sate the sword", but how do you get rid of it? It has been like 80 turns and you can't even negotiate.

Apparently I just updated the mod to version 7, but I can't load my game, which was started with version 6. It says I don't have the required mods intalled. Probably version 7 is considered as another mod and I'd need version 6 to load the game?

Histoire's little travel window is showing up while playing as Nepgear. Not entirely sure but I don't think it's supposed to do that.

Nepgear's afraid image was added in the most recent update, it may have an issue. Is this the only leader/status that this occurs with?

I have a slight issue, whenever nepgear is in my game and she has the "Afraid" status, apparently I can't load her texture, and is shows me a green/red screen.

Great mod, just one thing. After the update it says purple sisters shares are reduced by 0,50/turn instead of 1 but when I transform in purple sister she loses 1 per turn. Is it supposed to be like this?
