Hy Cynth. Thx. Thats it. I was to impatient. Sorry.
Cynth  [author] Apr 30, 2020 @ 9:25am
@koyangi exactly, if you got a 3x3 or 3x4 residential zone high on value than you just have to wait for it (you can bulldoze buildings growing on such a place if its not the peal tower).
SirRantsAlot Apr 30, 2020 @ 5:21am
So it will be build just by chance and i cannot plan where to put it?
Cynth  [author] Apr 29, 2020 @ 12:16pm
@koyangi its the growable version, it should be built when your residential zone is on high value ;)
SirRantsAlot Apr 29, 2020 @ 10:15am
Cant find it ingame where it should be.

The building looks beautiful - Unfortunately, I had to unsubscribe from it because it was growing like wild-flowers and taking over the city. This ruins the effectiveness of it's unique beauty. It would be great if there was plop-able version!
수제알라봉 Nov 20, 2018 @ 2:48am
what's the origin of the buliding?
hamburger hindrance May 7, 2018 @ 6:04pm
This fits in to existing residential zones like a glove. Thanks man!
LIDL May 29, 2016 @ 12:22pm
WOW many thanks man

Cynth ... please can you recycle this asset and publish a futuristic Vertical Farm, too? The ones already on Steam Workshop do not work, areold and need replacing!

Thanks tho! :steamhappy:
Cynth  [author] Dec 18, 2015 @ 5:27am
no, the specific file name has changed
Elessar Dec 18, 2015 @ 1:32am
was this file always called "Pearl Tower 1.4" in the Asset Editor?
Cynth  [author] Dec 17, 2015 @ 5:03am
the asset name hasn't change but it takes now 3x3 fields (prev 3x4) and is more dynamic and expandable, so this could be the reason why your buildigs disappeared. Dont worry, they're spawn again :)
Elessar Dec 17, 2015 @ 12:38am
Hi Cynth, what was the previous Asset Name of this building (16 April update)? I had many of this built but they all disappeared from my saved game after the After Dark updates.

Yup, looks even better than before. Thanks again!
tony_r_68 (Zed68) Oct 17, 2015 @ 4:16am
Had some time to play... and have a look at this building again. And it is now PERFECT !! (Lod is great, lights are great, everything fixed.) Oh and I find what you did at the top with the nightlights very smart.
Cynth  [author] Oct 9, 2015 @ 2:28pm
thanks for your review, i'll update asap with improved lod and textures.
tony_r_68 (Zed68) Oct 8, 2015 @ 3:46pm
I hesitated a lot before commenting, because I really love the way this building looked before AD. Now I think there are some problems with it... first, the lod is broken. The top changes a lot when the lod kicks in) and second, well the lod chanegs too much from the main model at night (the lighting arrangement is different and it jumps to your eyes, and the lights on top just disappear). These things can be made better, it's just a matter of lod baking, hope you'll consider doing it.

But one thing actually bothers me more... the fact that the top is illuminated during the day. I know that with the color changing thing you just didn't have the choice (it was that or no color change)... but I find the day lights very unrealistic... and it makes the building stand out far too much in my opinion.

That's sad, I really like this building. I wish you'll update your lod and hear my plead about the day lights.
Turjan Oct 5, 2015 @ 4:28pm
The new version looks very nice. Thanks!
Cynth  [author] Oct 3, 2015 @ 8:57am
Version 1.2 release - more realistic, more eyecatcher
Cynth  [author] Oct 2, 2015 @ 4:30am
Thank you!

@BloodyPenguin yeah, the UVs are not so good for non-repetitive illumination-maps - im working on a new UV to solve this. More randomness is coming :) - still working on additional AfterDark-Mod-Updates, too.
Uber-n00bie Oct 1, 2015 @ 8:08pm
Looks wonderful. Thank you for taking the time to update this, and I look forward to seeing any others you decide to do. :)
BloodyPenguin Oct 1, 2015 @ 8:51am
@Cynth Good to hear that! Regarding this asset's latest update - illuminated windows pattern looks repetitive to me. I would prefer something more random - like in vanilla assets. Great asset, still :)
Cynth  [author] Oct 1, 2015 @ 8:40am
UPDATE: 1.1 After Dark illumination map added

@BloodyPenguin
thats a nice Building, seems like a "Pearl Tower 2.0" :). Im going to consider your suggestion asap - Thanks!
BloodyPenguin Oct 1, 2015 @ 4:30am
@Cynth When doing update for After Dark, can you use unbuilt Toronto Sapphire Tower [readingcities.com] as reference? I think your tower is the closest thing to it. Would be also great if you changed 'pearl''s appearence to how 'sapphire' on that tower looks. Thanks! I'm a big fan of your assets :)
Phil-Assassin-94 Sep 27, 2015 @ 5:53am
Thanks
Cynth  [author] Sep 26, 2015 @ 7:55pm

Update?
Erathresh Jul 19, 2015 @ 1:36am
Very nice building. One of my favorite assets.
Termite Jun 3, 2015 @ 4:24am
What happened to the ploppable version of this building?
BiohazardousCatfish May 31, 2015 @ 3:08pm
Fits in perfect with the game. Properly sized and colored, its awesome to have a cylindrical building when many default buildings are plain boxes. Thanks!
marcushunke May 31, 2015 @ 12:42pm
Beautiful work!

Your work is AWESOME man! Keep it up <3
Hadlock Apr 26, 2015 @ 10:02pm
I love this building, it's so unique, yet really fits in with the game. I had forgotten that this was a workshop item, I thought it was part of the base game! Keep up the great work. I love seeing these pop up in my dense areas.
Cynth  [author] Apr 18, 2015 @ 5:29am
indeed!
forestfey Apr 18, 2015 @ 3:00am
I can see something shaping in the spherical mists... It's a begreened "Aenea's HAARP"= holistically attractive arboreal residence-pillar. No, I'm not making this stuff up. It grows naturally in my head after too many years of collecting bits and pieces of info and imagery
forestfey Apr 18, 2015 @ 2:54am
OMFG. Look at THIS fine specimen germinating there!!!! TUA-connection initialized...
Jutlander Apr 16, 2015 @ 1:37pm
I am going to try out this. Great job!
