Sent a friend request made a few Hexes of my own off existing assets, in my workshop. I would like to collaborate / share ideas for some specialty hexes if possible.

Hello @BenjiF I can take a look and see if I can fix the hit boxes.
BenjiF Dec 17, 2017 @ 10:46am
I'm still having issues with the hit boxes
Nay Nay  [author] Nov 7, 2016 @ 8:12am
@megashub I used blender directly to bake the textures so while I cant provide a layered file. I can however provide an image with the UV outline in place.
megashub Nov 6, 2016 @ 7:41pm
@Nathan would it be possible to provide the base texture file in a format that includes layers (like PSD)? It would make it much faster and easier to create new textures.
Nay Nay  [author] Jun 22, 2016 @ 4:43pm
@Nerun It might be because it is importing 4 serprate links for the tiles. ill take a look and see what I can find.
Daniel Jun 22, 2016 @ 2:46pm
@Nathan, why when i subscribe to your Hex Tiles Pieces it always download 4 ".obj" files, but when i use your objs (direct link, the same you use), it only download 2 ".obj" files? I made this test by deleting all content in My Games > Tabletop Simulator > Models folder. Do you know why?
Nay Nay  [author] Jun 21, 2016 @ 9:48pm
@thewaisian Correct I just made the update to the mod. Give it another try and let me know the results.
thewaysian Jun 21, 2016 @ 9:07pm
Hey Nathan, did you just make that update to the Mod? I used the pastebin file and still having some difficulty snapping together. If I increase the size of the hexgrid it's ok but there's still an annoying gap between them.
Nay Nay  [author] Jun 21, 2016 @ 8:12pm
Thanks to Princess Celestia I was able to resolve the issues with the colliders. I also decreased the overall size of the collision mesh to make it easier to slot them together.
Nay Nay  [author] Jun 21, 2016 @ 8:11pm
I'm sorry for those whom have been waiting so long for me to fix this issue, life has been making things rather diffifuclt on me to get issues resolved in a timely fashion.
Nay Nay  [author] Jun 21, 2016 @ 3:44pm
Ill be able to work on the mod today once I get home.
Daniel Jun 21, 2016 @ 8:42am
Uh, and i have made more tiles using yours objects. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=612890877
Daniel Jun 21, 2016 @ 8:33am
@Nathan, no problem bro. @Princess Celestia "Non-Convex" trick works very well!
Nay Nay  [author] Jun 20, 2016 @ 10:19pm
@Nerun Sorry I havent had the time to work on any fixes as i have been working full time and been having to deal with school. I'll get to it once i finish my finals tomorrow.
Daniel Jun 20, 2016 @ 2:53pm
Waiting for the fix, i love your hexes.
Nay Nay  [author] May 1, 2016 @ 11:31pm
@Princess Celestia Ill make some changes to the worksop file so that in the future you wont have to do that. Thank you for the fix as remodelling the tile didnt seem to fix the issue.
Princess Celestia Apr 23, 2016 @ 10:29am
I've found a temporary fix! Go into the custom settings and check "Non-Convex", and the hitboxes will return to normal. Granted, this has to be done for each and every tile, but it'll let you rebuild maps you've built with these tiles.
Darkgecko Apr 16, 2016 @ 10:42am
Looks like a lot of potential here. I was baffled why none of the pieces clicked together and they spewed all over the table when I first spawned them but that seems to fall in the hitbox askew category. I'm developing a prototype for a game with a custom grid similar to Settlers and these hexes should do the job nicely. Thanks for the work and I'll keep you updated on the project.
Nay Nay  [author] Apr 12, 2016 @ 11:31am
@princess celestia: in gonna fix it asap. Ive been having internet issues they are currently replacing my landlines so im not sure when they will be done but im gonna reset the hit box the moment I get the chance.
Princess Celestia Apr 10, 2016 @ 3:28am
v7.0's move to Unity 5 broke these. The hitbox is *way* bigger than the visual model now.
Demeju Jan 22, 2016 @ 2:27pm
Nathan, wanted to just say thanks for your tile set, it has allowed me to create a game called Blue Star Indigo which is based on the Indigo board game, now on the workshop :)

Jax Boom Jan 20, 2016 @ 2:34am
Ahhhhhhh. I've been using imgur for my bits but figured I could just redo yours and magically that would be that. Cheers. I'll give it a go....
Jax Boom Jan 18, 2016 @ 3:30am
Quick question. I retextured some of your hexes and they work fine, but people who have subscribed still see the old texture... any ideas why or how to fix it?
Jax Boom Jan 15, 2016 @ 2:49pm
Yeah I had a look around and found a nice moon pic. Used PS and my limited skills to re-texture the models. Looks good. Easier than I thought. Cheers.
Nay Nay  [author] Jan 15, 2016 @ 1:15pm
@Jax Boom: It actually wouldnt be that hard to create a crater texture.
Jax Boom Jan 15, 2016 @ 7:30am
Actually I worked it out. Photoshop for the win!
Jax Boom Jan 15, 2016 @ 7:17am
Cheers. I'm quiet surprized at how well it turned out! Still tweaking at the moment. The rules just need a little.... who knows?

Hey, here's a quick request... How hard would it be to make a crater hex? Like a moon crater or something?
Nay Nay  [author] Jan 14, 2016 @ 1:38pm
@Jax Boom: dude i think your game looks so cool im glad that my mod was a part of it.

@Bush Wookiz: yea i can try and see what i can come up with. trees can be fairly high poly so it might be a bit difficult to get something fairly low poly without lsoing a lot of that detail.
Bush Wookiz Jan 14, 2016 @ 12:58pm
Hey Nathan,

Great job on the tile set.

Just wanted to ask can you do deep green tiles with trees sticking out of them? And or some tiles for mountains. im trying to assemble a empire building rpg set for a game im looking to host in the future
Jax Boom Jan 12, 2016 @ 5:43am
Hi, just wanted to say great mod! I've actually used part of it in my game 'Terraformer'. You can check it out here http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=598073484

Thanks again, I've given you credit on my description and hope you are happy for me to include your work in my own?

Cheers

Jax

Kyur -- Why not just use his hex tiles, group them how you like, use the Chain link button to bind them together, and copy them into your chest?
Kyur Sep 21, 2015 @ 4:13am
Hey Nathan,

thanks for this mod ! Do you take requests ?

Because I require 2 unique tiles consisting of various numbers of merged tiles.

1. One consisting of 4 merged hex tiles just as shown in your first screenshot.
2. One consisting of 7 merged hex tiles just as shown in all the other screenshots.

:)
Nay Nay  [author] Aug 25, 2015 @ 6:00pm
@guardingfox Thank you I appreciate it.
Guardingfox Aug 25, 2015 @ 2:03am
I used your hex pieces for a project of mine. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=505805175
I gave you credit for the model ofcourse
DarkToonLink45 Aug 24, 2015 @ 4:41pm
@Nathan "So's your hex pieces. :D "
Nay Nay  [author] Aug 24, 2015 @ 4:36pm
That's really well done.
Nay Nay  [author] Aug 24, 2015 @ 11:54am
Oh wow I never noticed that.
DarkToonLink45 Aug 23, 2015 @ 11:12pm
It's like Heroscape's pieces!
Nay Nay  [author] Jun 18, 2015 @ 11:50am
sure i would love to help add me on steam so i can assist you further.
ForAiur Jun 18, 2015 @ 8:42am
Hi Nathan, I have a (strange?) question: Could you help me with a problem with MY hexes? I taught myself blender just to do some hexes in Battletech scale, but they show a strange line on one of the sides. Could you think of the reason why this is happening?

http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=460458282&searchtext=battletech

see the green gras tile, which is the bottom side of the gras/mountain tile.
Nay Nay  [author] Jun 10, 2015 @ 2:16pm
i included the links to find the model and texture files. If you wish to make contributions to this workshop file directly let me know so i can add you as a contributer. If you wish to make your own textures and put them into a seperate project you must give me credit for the work.
office worker #1 Jun 10, 2015 @ 12:59am
Nathan, do you by any chance have the image direct link so i can edit it?
Nay Nay  [author] Jun 6, 2015 @ 5:21pm
I'll try and figure out a way for you to be able to add your own custom content
kingdave79 Jun 6, 2015 @ 2:42pm
+1. I would like to do the same thing: put my own art on the hexes to create my own custom game. Is there a way we can do this?
Junko May 26, 2015 @ 10:52pm
Thanks for making these. Is it possible to see the html link used to make the hex model, in order to use it for making our own custom tiles?
John Graham Doe May 21, 2015 @ 4:07pm
Does anyone have any tips or ways to place these tiles without them catching on one another and not fully setting into place? Semi-lock (along with the grid of course) helps a lot, but I am still having problems when working large-scale on the "large custom board," and the problem is stemming from the tiles seemingly not completely centering in their respective grid slots. Absolutely nothing wrong with the mod, it's great. I just wondered if there was some way to mess with the options in-game to make the pieces snap into place better that I'm just unaware of. Thanks!
Hellfirebam Feb 13, 2015 @ 1:43pm
will do. Thank you!
Nay Nay  [author] Feb 13, 2015 @ 1:27pm
please credit me if you wish to use some of my work. And ill get started as soon as im available.
