Hey as a request - would it be possible to have a "base" ANZAC without the Kangaroo emblem? Currently trying to set up a 2010s mid-intensity scenario and your ANZAC is pretty much the best stand-in for available for the world's many MEKO 200 derivatives. No worries if not though.

Nope NSM are mine and come with the mod, i'm not sure though why you wouldn't be able to use them as they work for me (just tested now). I recommend unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod after turning off Steam Cloud, there shouldn't be any reason they don't work but let me know more about the issue so I can help

There are textures? This has been commented on the Air Warfare Destroyer and i'm not sure what people are referring to exactly, could you elaborate more on what it is you're looking for? When you spawn a ship (actually choosing a hull name) there are hull numbers and textures on the hull so i'm really keen to understand what it is you guys are looking for if these textures aren't enough

Patience young grasshopper hahaha Canberra is the next big project, but that doesn't mean i'm not working on smaller things in between. These ships are a slow process to do the models justice so hang in there :)

@DouglasRoyGod Thank you for your many messages across my various mods, I just wanted to respond to your comment below about the Collins even though it is on the wrong mod. I'm not sure if you got mine and L337RAGE's mods mixed up but my Collins doesn't come with any MOSS purely because I couldn't find any open source material indicating that they carried them in their armament. I hope you enjoy the mod for what it is, while it may receive updates in the future please don't let perfection be the enemy of good. I have tried to be as accurate as I can without being an SME on the platform :)

I've been fiddling around with them a bit, adjusted the hull numbers to fit them, and replaced the funnell roo with the Kiwi.
Mostly just can't figure out how to change to the RNZN Ensign.
I've got another mod for flags installed, just can't figure out how to add it in. Works fine for vanilla, so I assume it has an issue with modded ships.

@Neloth Glad you like it! :) I personally don't have an issue but because it's a copyrighted asset it might be best to check with Jason (I can't imagine he'd say no) but permission was given to me and i'm not sure I can pass that on. Likewise, I can make the changes and release Te Kaha and Te Mana in the future, i'm assuming it's mainly the masts that are the minor tweaks?

you did a great job. one note, the oberon is in another mod. the aussie mission pack. ? so that presents 2 collins class. and their skin is more accurate, however, they have 20 noisiemakers, and yours has 2 moss, - i think the collins have more than 2 moss, that are fired from a turp tube.
maybe add the proper skin and add 10 noismakers.

have a good slow week, good job. - still need torps on some of these ships. haha. the mk 48 torps. 20 range. we use what we got, whats in inventory. we got some mk-48's and mu-90's. (i noticed you were using the lower range of the mu-90 in a mk-46 label)

Beutiful, did a little test, 2 anzac, 1 hobat ddg, and one collins class, vs 2 missile 45's, and 55 kensai. with a 51 sub i think it was, the chinese desiel sub. - - one p-3 maritime patrol home ground advantage. and it was a good fight, sunk em all, and no losses. i think MHQ is happy today. haha.

Yeah so only advice I could offer is try to avoid any friendlies being down range when you let one rip, if the missile is defeated and the SM-6 decides to reattack it will just pick the next thing it sees after its original target and if that happens to be a friendly because that missile snuck into your screen then it's womp womp if you can't defeat it sort of like Harpoon and civvies, sees big target, must touch big target :')

I didn't even notice the texture issue. Too busy slapping down Chinese missiles.

I do need to work out how to stop the SM6 from engaging friendlies so often. I waste too many ESSM trying to kill my own missiles.

@SID6.7 Wafloon is correct, the rudder was just using a funky placeholder texture while I was positioning it. It was meant to provide a high contrast against the black hull so I could see better where I moving the model (uses base game OHP rudder model). I have just pushed an update where it now sets the rudder to black. Apologies, I was too focused on everything above the waterline that you forget to look below the surface once you're down with propellers and rudder

Yeah I tested it a bit the ESSM will miss most of the time if on weapons hold but on weapons tight and free it works perfectly idk why it might do this and it isn't that big of a deal.

Yeah idk, it might just have been a bug I had, the silkworm was base game however they were on weapons hold and i was manually firing the ESSMs, radar was 100% on though, maybe this is the problem.

So I did some tests and I can't reproduce your issue, as you'll see a single Air Warfare Destroyer or Anzac Class Frigate is capable of dealing with a swarm of Silkworms Yes some got through but usually because the ships had exhausted their ESSM stores. Evidence of the tests below:

Also, in my experience the ESSM do not work, they were unable, over 6 attempts, to shoot down a single silkworm travelling in a straight line at 320ft. This is at ranges from 10nm all the way up to 4nm where I switched to SM-2. Also this is from both Hobart and ANZAC.

@Pog Frog. Ahhhhh...I didn't realizie it was more indepth than that. Its still amazing that we can use it ingame. I really do need to reverse engineer the skill on kitbashing as its probably the easiest route.

Yeah I know what you mean, but at the same time its a destroyer from 2017, you shouldn't really be playing it if you want a balanced experience and since I assume you have no way to model the NSM's stealth characteristics I think making it unflareable would be fair. although that's just my opinion.

@Paddy Yeah i'm limited in what I can do, I could bump up the countermeasure variable but I am hesitant to do so, my rationale being that when I first released this mod and saw a Grim Reaper video of it going up against a Burke and Chinese ship it was pretty eh imo and heaps of people asked me to buff it. I've done so and this ship slaps now, to the point where it feels overtuned but i'm waiting to see what people say. Having a 100% guarantee of not being spoofed by chaff will just make it even more so, in my testing it was so rare if ever my NSM got spoofed so i'm willing to chalk it up to leaving some room for AI to atleast stand some sort of chance no matter how slim it might be. Thoughts?

Amazing mod, one thing though, the NSM on several occasions got fooled by chaff/flares, it is my understanding that the IR seeker on the NSM is very advanced and should no be fooled by anything including flares. Although this is a mod a changing this maybe outside of what is reasonable to do. Also custom NSM model is pretty cool, good job.

@AnxietyGaming Thanks for the heads up on my belly NSM, this was fixed in the recent update too. All reference shots I found were the launch orientation because they were just being fired so I appreciate the heads up that i needed to flip it for the actual flight phase. I'd be happy to take a look at making custom models but it's not super high on my list, the vanilla game assets are doing a good enough job for now, the only reason I custom made the NSM is because there is nothing like it in the base game. Not ruling it out though, just focusing on the bigger models to get Australian Navy in-game

@HMC It's not as simple as plug and play sadly, each of my mods represent days if not weeks of taking his models and getting them ready for SeaPower. The biggest body of works is taking the models and reducing their sizes, the Anzac is roughly 500,000 polygons which large but I got the models at about 2-2.5 million polygons...so alot of effort has gone into making them ready for the game which means a tutorial would be pretty dense. If you let me know what you'd like to see from Jason I can work on it, happy for those requests as I want to implement Aussie assets before any foreign nations which Jason primarily models Aussie stuff
