Hey Friend,
How is compatibility with Creeping Corrupt? Seeing as CA will never delivery on Public order and Corruption rework, we have to rely on modders.

@Bishamonten, i just checked. Everything is still working fine so it doesn't need an update

This mods needs to be updated I think. As of 6.1: "MAKE SURE YOUR PACK CONTENTS - as in, the table names or lua file names and everything like that - DO NOT CONTAIN CAPS. That'll straight up crash the game from now on." - from the Modding Den

Finally someone who understands problems with corruption and makes good fix, Thank you!!

@mumion der Unsterbliche It shouldn't be problems, since the new patch doesn't change anything corruption-related

Update ?

@General Brooks Hi! Thank you for your feedback! About it:

1) Brass Keep +30 Nurgle: For what i know: Dwarfs first occupied the Middle Mountains, founding "Karak Ghumzul". Beneat it they discovered a Chaos Portal. Plus Festus starting position

2) I just checked in-game and both: Skavenblight and Hell Pit have +30 Skaven Corruption. If you think they doesn't have corruption because they're not on the list, is because they already have base corruption from vanilla. That list is for Provinces where i added or modified its current corruption manually. But I think i can make a doc or something listing all of them, that could be better/more clear

3) +30 Corruption too much: I don't think I change it since:
3.1) With surrounding provinces you can make more than enough to mitigate the +30
3.2) You can capture and abandon the province so ruins will cancel the corruption

They talked pre-patch about their desire to change corruption at some point in the future. They did not change corruption this patch, and there's absolutely no indication that they will implement a similar feature to this mod.

@General Brooks and ca changed with this patch corruption

Nice mod! Just some minor suggestions:
-Lorewise Brass keep in the Middle Mountains was used by all sorts of different factions, including Empire, Vampires and Chaos. Whilst I can see it having some small degree of innate corruption, the lore doesn't support a massive amount of Nurgle corruption like this. 5 Chaos, 5 Vampiric would probably be more appropriate.
-I'm surprised there's no increased skaven corruption for Skavenblight or Hell Pit?
-I do also think 30 might be a tad strong for the upper level, maybe 25 would work better? I feel like it should be really hard to cleanse somewhere like Sylvania, but possible to then keep it cleansed without needing an army of agents standing around there forever.

Thank you, this is going to make my next campaign much more interesting!

Congrats on your 1st mod. I always like to keep an eye out for loreful mods so I can class my gaming as educational for less guilt. :steamhappy: :WH3_bear:

@Bishamonten Thank you so much! Hope you enjoy it and let me know anything related to the mod!

I'm a huge fan of your approach actually, I think having corruption become an obstacle that needs to be overcome instead of a minor inconvenience is exactly it. For sure gonna try it out in my next campaign
Sir Nicholas  [author] Jul 6, 2024 @ 6:17pm
I have confirmed that i can proc +30 Clean Corruption on my settlements (Buildings, Edict, Hero, Ancillaries) so i don't see an "Impossible" kind of a problem; these provinces with high levels of corruption are suposed to be a challenge to get clean.

BUT! I noticed there could be a problem if, for example, Vlad Von Carstein decides to go conquer Skavenblight or the Chaos Wastes that has +30 Corruption.

Sooo... I'll be checking if i can do something with the -5 corruption you get with "Another Source of Corruption". Increasing that number could give the "Evil" factions to fight fire with fire.

Ty for your comments!

Yeah corruption deffo needs a rework in WH3....hopefully you guys can do something about it and make it a bit more fancier and such

I agree with Autumnchain too, currently the levels would bother the player/ai to overcome it for quite a few turns at least
Autumnchain Jul 5, 2024 @ 8:19am
I like the idea, but these values seem a bit much, as in, the Large corruption seems impossible for someone who doesn't like that sort of corruption to overcome it, creating another layer of unholdable territory that the climate system created.
