This one little mod is so simple and straightforward but its usefulness and the depth to how it changes the game is so wonderful!!! Thank you very much for making this mod it has helped me colony after colony!!! Thank you!!!!!

yeah reloading the game is important, that happened to me too when i was testing stuff

Not only does it nuke the current save, all saves get affected. I loaded a save before I moved the interaction spot, tried reinstalling something, and same thing happens that did on the save I change the interaction spot on.

Reloading the game fixed it however.

you might also want to just destroy the original object that you were going to reinstall and remake it with dev tools

in the meantime, you *can* fix messed up saves.

1. MAKE A BACKUP OF THE SAVE
2. open the save's .rws file in a text editor
3. search for <buildingToReinstall>
4. above it will be several lines of stuff, at the top is <thing Class="Blueprint_Install"> and below it is </thing>
5. delete <thing Class="Blueprint_Install">, </thing>, and everything in between
6. repeat for any other bugged blueprints
7. save and you should be done.

you should probably restart rimworld if you haven't already, just in case. if you have any issues then post here, i'll subscribe to the thread

@Mlie I followed the instructions listed in Reporting Issues. I described the action that caused the error, and included a link to a log of the error happening with only this mod active. What else is required for you consider this a valid report?

So, pretty sure it's a mod conflict, but when I move doors, I get an error that lists this mod as the postfix, not sure what it has to do with doors, but anyway.

Odd bug: when this mod is enabled, I can no longer access the first option in the context menu (such as deconstruct or cancel) and cannot see the preview image when placing or installing buildings

this mod doesn't seem to work for me anymore. the icon to move the interaction spot is gone as a gizmo and it randomly breaks my save by moving interaction spots and disallowing people to sleep in beds. i wish i could help diagnose what causes this but i've got about 800 mods installed and figured it best to just uninstall it

@AUV i got the same problem when you demolish the building which the interaction spot not at the default point,now the problem will happen ,the position which is being demolished building's position can't use any more at that direction

Well, even removal of every workbench does not making stacktrace of Move Interaction Cell lighter. And I can't remove the mod either.

I have the same problem as Saveliy(SYSMY)⁴², can't confirm that it happens with only your mod active, but 50% of my stacktrace is Move Interaction Cell

Does this mod also add the ability to pick the watch cells for artwork and sarcophagi? If so can I request support for Misc. Training's buildings so we can control exactly where pawns stand when using them? Thanks

same thing happened to me, it seems like it remembers the previously demolished station's spot
as default spot, so when you try to rotate it to "default position" it will be on the prior spot

4. At the site of the demolition, a new production building was constructed,Ensure consistent direction
5. The production point cannot now be rotated or returned to normal

Rotating points retain memories? I used to have a rotating building, and after I demolished it, I built another different building in the same place, and its rotating point still maintained the rotating point of the previous building, and the rotating point of the new building could not be restored to the normal position, and some even became unable to rotate, and the right button could not be restored to normal

I sometimes have the same issue as @Shawn describes, but for me it's easy to resolve by just clicking the re-install button. I don't actually have to move it, just click the button, unselect the item, then re-select it and it works as normal again.

@Shawn Removed the moving of the cell for the monolith since it has no real way of knowing its changed size. Should hopefully work a bit better now. Not sure what the issue is when buildings are moved sometimes. Ill work on it.

The drug lab, and I couldn't move the interaction cell for the Void Monolith (Anomaly) after it went from stage 1 to stage 2, either.

Moving the cell and later reinstalling the building makes the cell unmovable
