I use a medium guitar pick and push in into the W key = Autorun

Try reset all keybind of the mod, it should be fix for temporary

Doesn't work for me.
Player char does a little step and then nothing happens.
The default f5/f6/f7 didn't work. I tried a number of different keybinds for this, could not get it to work. I tried ctrl+f5/6/7, ctrl+5/6/7, ctrl+ins, capslock, etc. and none of them worked.

just tried with no other mods too, alls it does is put weapon down to walk but doesnt walk, and gun up but doesnt jog or run

Can confirm as the guy under me that it no longer seems to work? And I went ahead and tested a clean profile with only the mod in it. I thought it was a keybind issue but even rebinding it to something else got no results.

I couldn't get it to work at all. Even at the top of the load order. He does a little step and then nothing happens. I feel like this kind of mod should be more popular than it is. Windows+G it is for now.

Looks like there's a new problem: Autorun will randomly get stuck and there's no way to turn it off. Are you still supporting this mod?

no issues running full mod order now (ace and a bunch of other stuff) so the issue should be fully gone :steamthumbsup:

@freyja i made a hot fix for it, it should be working for the invincible problem, @MrTG i just add the key F7 for Jog, hope it suit you

works without any mods now - checking so some common mod isnt breaking compatability somehow.

okay, loaded up with cba and it makes you a bullet sponge, can't take any damage with it enabled.

This is walking, not running slowly. The slow running posture of putting down the gun is more suitable for use in mpmissions, as it saves energy and is not as slow as walking

just stumbled upon this and have been wanting a mod like this for a while (since cyprus isnt the best) but unfortunately can confirm that you dont take any damage while using this mod, hope a fix is found :steamsad:

@Raven, i have made update about it, it should be fixed, @MrTG @Trooper_025, updated for auto walk key press by F6, you can switch between walk and run by F5 and F6, no need to stop the autorun

Ok, I just tested by removing all other mods except this one and cleared the cache. Still taking no damage. Even stood right on top of a grenade and didn't get hurt. Something weird is going on since your last update or possibly the one before. Pretty sure it was working fine until then. I hope that helps you track it down. This is really useful for those long hikes to and from the AO.

This is a fantastic QOL improvement, but it seems to be making my avatar invulnerable. I've watched multiple NPCs dump several magazines at me to no effect. It could be an interaction with my other mods. I'll try to test more later tonight and get back to you.

@Joey Perhaps my expression was incorrect (I used Google Translate). What I mean is to have the player automatically jog instead of running quickly. When doing tasks, due to physical limitations, automatic slow running is much more practical than automatic fast running. In slow running (fast walking with gun down), players can use maps for drawing tasks during long-distance marches without excessive physical exertion caused by fast running. Will there be a CBA feature in the future that can be selected for slow and fast running versions.

Doesn’t have to any specific sqf file, you also can do Trigger when it activate it set to walk only, or you just want walk when this mod start? Not when player control it?

@Joey if i had to guess, it probably has something to do with the animations while being unconscious, since it happened when the medic tried doing CPR, which made the patient do a turning over animation, and when the turning on the back animation stopped, the unconscious person just got up a run away while their screen was still black, but i could be wrong, thats just my observation

nice mod, is it possible to change that cancel running by just pressing specific keys such as WASD and Auto run key, then we can do some other things when running, like look around, open map... so on. My suggestion is a little different from the previous guy.
