Maybe I'm just not understanding some setting, but it feels like the mod is severely underreporting the number of sites matching my parameters.

My initial guess is it's the highest/lowest characteristic under Climate - like I set it to display the 10000 spots with the most rainfall, and it only *checks* the 10000 tiles on the map with the most rainfall, while I'm expecting it to check all and report the top 10000.

For some reason god mode (the ability to change biomes, stone types, etc) doesn't seem to be showing with 1.6 despite having it both enabled and checked with dev mode on. Is this just an issue that I am having?
~_Athena_~ Nov 3 @ 11:33am
ignore my statement turns out it was not active in my mod list even tho it clearly showed it was so I restarted my game after the 6 time and gonna see if it works
~_Athena_~ Nov 3 @ 11:31am
I can't seem to open it up when I press control P and I can't find it in the settings even tho its active and enabled in my mod list
Crash2323 Oct 14 @ 5:50am
Anyone else not able to see the list of filtered tiles after clicking minimize? I have a list when full size. This a known bug?
spinning dope Oct 7 @ 6:03am
specifically the 'disable prefilter check' command.

i assume there have been performance issues with certain searches on 100% maps in the past
spinning dope Oct 7 @ 12:49am
@Daredeviler_21 there's a setting you can toggle to enable full biome filtering on 100% map size
xZayah Sep 5 @ 2:05pm
To open the main window, press Ctrl + P on the world map screen
Shey Sep 1 @ 7:40am
I wish there was a way to disable it popping up every time I go to the world map. I only ever want to see it when I'm choosing my spot on a brand new game. it's always sitting on top of the time and other buttons in the bottom right. every single time I open the map I have to move it out of the way.

Could the developer add a function to filter nearby factions?
dominicawb Aug 23 @ 3:19pm
Well whatever, Better map Sizes will let me generate those sizes even with it gone.
dominicawb Aug 23 @ 2:31pm
For some reason the extreme map sizes are gone after installing this, why?
Daredeviler_21 Aug 20 @ 11:50pm
Is there a reason why the filter refuses to do either Biome: Any or Terrain: Any when searching a 100% coverage world?
aShadowWizard Aug 20 @ 6:08am
Any chance you could code in a separate filter for different river sizes (i.e. Huge river, large river and creek?)
Alpacalypse Aug 11 @ 8:47am
This mod seems to fatally bug out while in space. The menu keybind changed to P instead of CTRL P which overlaps with the default "select similar" command, and it started disabling my pause and escape buttons. Only way to fix it was to uninstall it.
Cal Aug 9 @ 1:07pm
Any chance of letting saved filters include selected feature settings?
Mr. F Aug 9 @ 9:05am
Sorry, mod options. Just found it. My bad.
Mr. F Aug 9 @ 9:00am
I have a question regarding this message when filtering:
Filtering Terrains: this filter resulted in 0 matching tiles (in conjunction with the previous 1 filters) Maybe the filtering was a little bit too harsh?
No biome and no terrain selected for a Planet coverage >= 50%
Please select a biome and a terrain first.

I'm using this mod together with my little planet, so full coverage does not result in more tiles than having a vanilla planet with 30% coverage.

Is there a reason, I can't filter just for landmarks with 100% coverage?
Antis Aug 4 @ 8:49am
I installed and tried this mod now and it works very well. Press P and click on the options.
The_Silver_Nuke Aug 3 @ 7:07pm
How do I filter through tiles in the minimized window? It doesn't show a list there. Is there a hotkey I can use to select the next one in the list?
Taigasiggy Jul 30 @ 6:35am
@(^0v0^)OriginalOwl Still it doesn't work. Why...!!
(^0v0^)OriginalOwl Jul 30 @ 6:23am
@Taigasiggy for me it's just P, no ctrl
Taigasiggy Jul 30 @ 4:19am
Pressing Ctrl+P during the planet generation stage doesn't open any window.
(^0v0^)OriginalOwl Jul 29 @ 3:33pm
@aShadowWizard disable prefilter check
aShadowWizard Jul 29 @ 1:45pm
how the hell do you even work this mod, I keeping filter errors. I'm just trying to find a temperate forrest with year round growing
ouyin2000 Jul 26 @ 7:18pm
Thanks, I've been figuring out RimSort for a day now. Seems to be pretty stable with a multiple-hundred mod list now, including Prepare Landing.
Awaik Jul 26 @ 9:26am
@ouyin2000, rimpy has been kinda bad and on life support for a bit now. check out rimsort. it is actively worked on and open source. give that a shot.
BlackSparrow Jul 25 @ 3:53am
Hey! could be neat if you added a filter based on the amount of features a tile has as well i.e a minimum of 3 features. Great mod tho its a massive time saver XD
ouyin2000 Jul 24 @ 3:37pm
Just did a quit test with RimPy, Harmony, and Prepare Landing. None of the mods show up in Rimworld, so I'm stumped. Something with RimPy maybe?
ouyin2000 Jul 24 @ 3:25pm
I can't seem to get Prepare Landing to show up at all upon world gen. I do have a lot of mods, so I'm going to start deciphering. Is there supposed to be a keybind to open it? It's been at least 2 years since I used it last...
Ridigan Jul 24 @ 12:31pm
I'm curious why you set the easy start search preset to specifically include tiles with a coast. is having a coast helpful for your base?
Warlordinsomnia Jul 23 @ 3:23pm
Legend, thank you for the update.
Erazil Jul 23 @ 7:19am
Tile filtering isn't possible unless you select a specific choice in Biome AND Terrain Type.
I think it would be more practical if the mod used the logical OR operator.

Another thing that would be nice is a search field in the Feature tab.

In any case, I'm happy to find this mod again, thank you so much for your work.
Mr. F Jul 22 @ 12:22pm
Thank you very much for the update to 1.6.

I know, it's not important in any way, but the font type when loading a planet looks strange. Something like [PrèpárèLànoíng] PrèFìlfèring ...

It’s probably related to a mod not using proper translation keys and the localization files still needing to be set up.
R4T_B0T Jul 21 @ 9:17pm
is it just me or is the god mode gone?
Noctus Jul 21 @ 7:12pm
Thank you very much for your effort friend.
PhoenixLabella Jul 21 @ 6:59pm
Thx a lot! :greedyHeart:
Gryphonheart Jul 21 @ 5:45pm
Ohh so that's what it's called. Thanks! That's more than enough mate :)
m00nl1ght  [author] Jul 21 @ 5:41pm
@Gryphonheart

Searching for "Animal habitat" overall is possible, but not individual animals.
Gryphonheart Jul 21 @ 5:32pm
Thank you for the update. Question: Is adding habitats not possible in the features search? I found a megasloth habitat once and even heard rumors of a thrumbo habitat so i would love being able to search for those. Is it possible to search for habitats at all? Either with a specific animal or just all habitats?
LivingLitch Jul 21 @ 5:25pm
Woohoo! Starting over tonight! THANK YOU!
Oterion Jul 21 @ 3:15pm
Thank you very much! I'd forgotten how annoying finding a good landing spot was without this mod.
Erazil Jul 21 @ 1:25pm
Thanks you a lot :)

Thank you m00nl1ght, this is an essential mod for me I use it every save. Really appreciate you updating this so quickly
ArKade Jul 21 @ 8:27am
You're the best! Thanks for updating :)
m00nl1ght  [author] Jul 21 @ 8:17am
Updated for RimWorld 1.6

New features:
- Added "Features" filter that allows searching for any combination of map features
- Added "Adjacent biomes" filter that can be used to search for biome transitions

There have been a lot of world generation changes in 1.6 so likely there will be some issues. If you find any, please report them in the Bug Reports section.
Shawamba Jul 21 @ 6:16am
This is going to be a godsend. I get paralyzed trying to find the ideal tile on the map with just my eyeballs. Tyty for your handwork in advance!
