Hello author, I'm currently working on an Overhaul Mod that works well with katka's ports. will it be okay to use your effects into the overhaul?

Does it affect distant muzzleflashes ?

It only have particle and smoke, there is no muzzle flash. Seems like your mod doesn't work well.

I love this mod, a triple A game like Rainbow Six Siege has the most grotesque, hideous, and unrealistic muzzle flash ever, while this mod for an indie game makes things look real again.

@askingfortrouble, no it does not. all it changes is the muzzleflash. That was my mistake when adding the tags the night i posted this mod.

This comes up as a sound pack, does this actually alter sound and mess with sound packs.

A question: muzzle flashes i can see with this mod are coming only from my guns or can I see all the guns flashing during the game? 'Cause skilled gamers pay attention to don't let everyone see their barrel and muzzle flashes... in this case a little malus while firing is nothing compared to the bonus :D

I Rarely look at my own muzzle flash but why the debris sparks?...sign of an unclean, unkept weapon. reminds me of the days of constantly stripping my SA80.

could you maybe make a mod where you remove the muzzle flash completely? I downloaded another authors mod that makes all the guns sound like airsoft guns because it's more fun that way, and can't seem to figure out how to make the flash invisible, or at least less visible

@AlienPhantom Gunpowder does not explode/detonate. It burns, producing a large volume of gases in a confined space, increasing pressure to push the bullet forward. When the bullet leaves the barrel, the gas escapes behind the bullet. It is also possible for unburned or still burning powder to get pushed out the muzzle as well. Gases and gunpowder make up the flashes, not "explosions". If your gun explodes, it's because of an improper load.

I'm pretty sure muzzle flashes are small explosions, which are likely caused by the explosion that is formed inside to launch the bullet.
