@paranoid Really? I've just created a sheet rope to climb from the first storey down to the ground and I can't change direction, but sometimes I do fall off as I'm climbing... Maybe I'll reload and see if I can change direction properly. Thanks for the mod and taking the time to reply.

@Tempest I've already checked that, in B42 you can change climbing direction without mods. Though it works a bit strange because sometimes character just falls to the ground.

Character gets stuck mid air. Reloading fixes it but if there were a zombie below you would be screwed.

BUG: if you start climbing down a rope and then go back up during the window vault anim your character will be stuck flying, if anyone else has this i fixed it by using fast move to first floor and reloading the save

Update: removed jumping while climbing.

Still no idea how to fix softlock. To avoid it, release all movement keys before climbing down.

So fun fact; the mod also affects the poles in fire stations (as I guess the devs basically used a reskinned sheet rope for them), so you can knock out the stairs in a fire station and have an indestructible entrance and exit method to the upper floors!

Just like what the author said in previous comment page, just make sure to release all directional key (WASD) before initiating the rope action and you won't be softlocked.

I feel certain that in a state of panic running from zeds, I'd forget to climb or have a brain fart and hit shift to climb faster. Be cool if shift let you hop up or slide down the rope. :D

Hi, it seems this mod doesn't work with controller, since it doesn't detect a joystick as pressing W, S, or shift. Are you planning to add controller support, or is there a workaround for this?

Hey, i am having a problem with not being able to climb up the rope from standing on the ground, instead it makes the Jump over fence or climb through window animation instead even why i do the command by right clicking and selecting "climb sheet rope". any tips?

I've found what caused the floating bug. Temporary solution: release all the movement keys before climbing through the window and going down the rope. Working on a fix.

I tested the mod with the controller, it seems like it's not compatible, it just doesn't work
