Did you check higher ranks of that ability? Blight gets added to that skill on afaik 3+ in base game and I think I kept that gimmick

@Leenbow I encourage you to rip into mod files and adjust it however you like it
You can check how Uppercut was in base game and then compare to my mod
heroes/bounty_hunter/bounty_hunter.info
and just... reverse it :)

@Leenbow this mod was never intended to focus on balancing, only taking BC skills and making them usable in base game, with all their pros and cons.

Hmm, may note that with this mod Bounty Hounter's "Uppercut" ability uses Daze instead of Stun, which feels like straight up downgrade (and it's the only ability so far that I feel being worse with this mod). Enemies are not stunned and if BH has his turn earlier - Daze ends up being super worthless.

I already almost always used "Flashbang" instead, which is mostly more flexible, but Uppercut was his only way to Stun enemies from the first position. Also, "Come Hither" seems better as a move abilty (due to mark) so there is no reason to use Uppercut...

Or am I missing something?

"Leper Hype" is under intimidate, which givea neither a speed bonus nor a self mark.

@Amainy Leper hype is Revenge afaik.
Scaling armor is logical, but if I'd go with this number changes would be so meaningless it's effects would be bearely noticable. like going 2-4-6-8-10% all of them would round up damage reduction to -1 for the 99% of the game so imo there is no point.
Self marks are still there except crusader because bulwark of faith is already busted

A few things:
-maybe prot from armor should have a scaling
-self marks are nice to play around with (maybe they should stay)
- what's the "Leper Hype" effect, can't find it in files

@Last of the Order this mod was not made with compatibility to other circus mods in mind, but it turned out it complements LITE version nicely if someone wants circus skills but no new heroes. Regular version already has this mod "included" through gladiator heroes

Anything in the works to use the two alongside one another? I imagine it's simpler to direct folks to use the Lite version / or forgo the skills mod in such instances.

@Last of the Order because this mod uses the same skill ID's as singleplayer circus. Skills in this mod are used by gladiator heroes in the other mod

Bug Report - When using this mod alongside your Single Player Butcher's Circus mod, some skills apply some of their effects twice. For example:

- Crusader's Inspiring Cry applies two separate +15% Virtue Chance effects with a single use, totaling +30%. The Virtue effect is also listed twice in the skill description in-game, two lines each stating +15%.

- Jester's Inspiring Tune has a similar issue, wherein it applies two separate instances of its Finale buff effects and the effects are listed twice on the skill description in-game.

Note, this issue does not occur when using this mod alongside your Single Player Butcher's Circus Lite version.

@Last of the Order nope, all stats are the same because entire game is built around certain hp/dodge/resistances and circus had all of them largely nerfed so it would result in this mod crippling everyone

@Kryh Un - Are you able to give any more mod details, specifically how this compares to say, the Circusy Reworks done by Evander90?

I loaded both mod setups on two different fresh saves to scope out the skills, noting some similarities and differences, but anything else of note you could provide would be helpful when one is deciding between the two mod approaches.

@Don Quixote yeah I agree utility skills and character changes were great in BC
DD1 is in maintenance mode now, so I wouldn't expect any updates in the future sadly
Unless they make Darkest Dungeon HD or some kind of remake ;)

Thank you very much. When this was removed a few months ago I was devastated. I salvaged through several other similar mods to get similar effects. IMHO Red Hook should have updated the singleplayer abilities to match BC abilities. While there's a damage increase the real benefit of BC abilities is the utility.

It was 100% my fault. I could have sworn I had tried BC on AND off but after Verifying game files AND enabling BC, it works flawlessly.

After some testing, it seems that this mod cannot coexist with any other mod, even if the mod theoretically has no releation to modifying hero skills (like trinket mods)

It works fine by itself but as soon as I add anything else the Daze routine softlocks the game.

Crusader and Musketeer are now legit solo healers
are'nt they legit solo healers in base game?
They have pretty good heal originally.

@Dawnpromise it's weird because I removed all other mods while testing this one and it works normally, did you mb remove/disable circus DLC?
There should be no issues with text at all because they are part of base game

I'm not sure either. But it works properly when combined with your single-player circus mod. Could just be an incompatibility somewhere but I've got it fixed on my end now. Just thought I'd heads up as when I tested this mod by itself the strings were bugged. Maybe you just forgot to copy the localization?

This mod appears to be missing localization strings for: Daze, Clear Horror, and Clear Debuff.
