@Mud I'm not sure what the issue could be. Are you able to reinstall the game? If you don't want your saves to get lost, you can copy them from "Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\save games".

Something odd. Achievements show as being available but when I start the game and open the main menu it then says achievements are not available due to modified checksum.

I turned debug off after starting and followed all the rules. Didn't work for me.

Tip for troubleshooting: If your computer runs CK3 a bit slow, maybe it takes a bit longer to realize you got the achievements?

btw i have heard about programs to manipulate with achievemets in steam. so u can lock and unlock achievements in ur games. if u are interested search something like "steam unlock all achievements" on youtube for example. As i know, there is no precident of banning for manipulations with achieves. Maybe it will let u to skip some really boring and useless stuff
