Just to report that although I like this mod, I have to disable it when running on Mac OS since it causes the game to crash.

It works for me under win 11, can you share a log file?

I would like to inform you that I set up a GitHub project for those who want to contribute. Thank you for all the comments and feedback. I have finally some time again to hopefully look at the issues.

Hello. The mod also does not work here. How do I edit the savegame to activate the mod ingame?
MisterL Dec 3, 2024 @ 11:24am
@launacorp: I have the same problem, only mod and it doesn't work. Not on new games or on older savefiles. How do I edit the savegame to activate the mod ingame?

When you stop date progression there is a 100% reproducable (at least for me) game crash with an assertion failure window opening.

SOLVED
I had to edit the savegame via ingame menu to activate the mod on my saavegame

Doesn´t work for me. I added this mod and the income screen is the vanilla one. No other Mods are used. Any Ideas?

It's a great mod, but it doesn't work if you have the date speed paused, is not switching period after certain time like vanilla does.

Ditto - only total interest is showing, not per cycle. Also previous cycles' numbers change, so this is unreliable.
SeniLiX Aug 20, 2023 @ 8:25am
Unable to see the interest payed per year? Only total payed?

Thanks Konrad for the steps to reproduce. I uploaded new version that should fix the crash.
Btw. as I saw your map I would recommend to use another mod "Clear Opening Balances" to avoid journal items from map creation.

Hi, same error here with the assertion failure. To reproduce: Subscribe to "the Kratuno Link" ( https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1985621869 ), start a new free game by loading this map with the defaults (in 1850), and without any mods (you can leave on the "deluxe" and "legacy" that might be bundled by UG, they don't matter). Save immediately, then load again, enabling the "Better Finance Overview" mod. Bam, crashes, reproducibly.

Interestingly, this doesn't happen when trying the same with a generated map, hence I'm linking to the (great) map with which I could reproduce it.

Anyway, thanks for the mod, hope the error can be fixed :)

I could but my savegame has over 600 mods, so it might be a pain for you but the good news is that it loads fine if it is the only mod I have so I have to find out which one is causing a conflict
bezousek  [author] Jun 8, 2023 @ 11:10pm
Can you also try to create new game without the mod, save it and then load with the mod?
Pizzaguy Jun 8, 2023 @ 3:51pm
I am afraid I cannot share a save game because I only was using the mod while starting a new game but I will try it with the new update and tell you how it goes
bezousek  [author] Jun 8, 2023 @ 1:13pm
I did a small update to not use game.config variable. It might help with the crash.

Can you share a save game pls?

Can you post here what is the crash message, please?
Pizzaguy Jun 6, 2023 @ 2:02pm

Investment as a whole category is the sum of investment in vehicles and infrastructure. For rail transport, investments in tracks are added and for road transport, investments in roads/streets are added.

Investment in vehicles represents the amount spent on the purchase of new vehicles. If you sell a vehicle, the amount is deducted from this column.
Investment in infrastructure represents construction costs needed to build stations, depots or signals.
Investment in tracks or streets is simply the amount spent on the construction of new tracks or streets.

I hope that helps.

@bezousek - looks interesting. Looking at your photo example, what does 'investments' correspond to? Depreciation on vehicles, etc? Could you briefly explain? Many thanks!
