Bhahaha! I would put an anchor on it just to see people do that. xD But I'm pretty sure they won't. My 'Perry' machine has grapplers on it for cargo that can be used as anchors (and even if a player doesn't realize they can be used that way they still have plenty of screwup potential) and I haven't gotten any complaints like that yet. I guess anyone that's advanced enough to fly a helicopter in this game is smart enough to know that if they crash it because they left something attached to the ground, it's their own fault.

I'll see about it, I just worry people will drop the anchor, try to take off, and crash it. Then complain it doesn't work.

Just the most fish storage it can handle without being overweight or unbalanced, all the storage being accessible, and maybe some extended fuel capacity if there's anywhere to put it. I'm not sure whether my mistake was all the hoppers I loaded it down with, where I put said hoppers, or the part where I walled off the bathroom and added it to the fuel tank.

It's easy to balance a boat, but helicopters are not so forgiving and I suck with them. =x

Lol yeah, a fishing-specific version is what I was trying to do. I basically gutted the interior and tried to fill it with hoppers. I won't try to do that again. :P

@Nameless, added the feature the moment the update dropped. You can actually carry quite a few fish in your inventory. But I might be able to tinker around and make a fishing specific version. Some amenities might need to be sacrificed for cargo.

So, this is a remarkably stable machine. I like flying it. Now that fishing is actually in the game, I don't suppose you'd consider refitting it to actually go fishing with? :D

I've tried to do it myself, but I kinda suck at it. At least for helicopters. For boats it's easy, you can just add weight almost anywhere and they're very forgiving in terms of balance. But I keep putting too much weight in the wrong places on this thing, so it flips over backwards when I take off. =x

Bro i searched everywhere but i do not see the breaker. Is this a failed heli or is the builder just stupid.

Got a hotfix out, should float again but flight will be a bit wonky until I get it fine tuned.

Float capabilities somehow messed up by the update. Even though it could float without negative boosters, it no longer can thanks to the devs messing up air weight and such. Pretty burned out by this bad update, but I'll make sure to fix this.

Did some testing and the current version is working fully on my end. If you can, try to throw a more detailed report of the issue in the bug reports discussion.

Don't worry, I am currently looking into this issue and will finally after this ridiculous amount of time add a bug report discussion for this specific version.

I did find the bug you mentioned before on the non-amphibious version, and how to fix it was described below:
This is the original bugfixing discussion with the quick fix for the other variant.

However that was updated so the newest version of that shouldn't have it anymore.

It might also have some issues if you have infinite fuel on, since the engine typically tries to account for fuel loss. If you do have infinite fuel set to on, try turning that off.

Oh, those are decorative fishing poles.

Initially there was going to be a fully working crank operated fishing pole that would be deployed off the side of the right pontoon by a pivot, but I there wasn't really the time or space available to make it work and look good.

Honestly I'm glad people have been enjoying this thing. It started as a big funny backup entry for a challenge for on the SetSail server. And then became this thanks to the feature suggestion made by an awesome person on the original version.

So, if anyone has any suggestions for features they'd like to see there's a discussion for that.

That's the "Medellin Napoles" the boat mentioned in the little newspaper clipping inside the helicopter. I currently only use it as a background prop, but if I just fix up the micro-controller for a feature on it then I could probably post it to the workshop.
