Hi Andy, love the mod! Great work and thank you for taking the time! I wondered if it was possible to either lighten the waters slightly , so that text and other icons are a little more readable? Or, do it the other way and adjust the text/icons to be lighter instead?

The pictures do seem a bit odd in black against dark blue backdrop.

Would it be possible to see a variant that cleans the ocean texture leaving like, only the sea/ocean names?
(and if not, how hard would it be to do oneself?)

This mod is so sexy it demands a Font remake, otherwise its impossible to properly read names when they cross the watter

I'll unninstall it for now, only to avoid instant ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ from the erasure of 75% of the ♥♥♥♥ isles name.

Would it be possible to have a bit of a middle ground colour? Having it be dark is nice, but this contrast is a bit much. Still gonna be using this over vanilla tho lol

@Andy's Take I'm not really sure how, but I think it'd be nice if the trade route lines blended into the paper effect more, right now they really take me out of the feeling I'm looking at an old map rather than a digital rendering

This looks very nice! Do you think you could do something about making the trade routes more integrated into the paper map? Right now they look very digital and artificial, like they're added on top of the paper map, which is very strange since everything else looks integrated

Looks nice. But what about a slightly gray or lighter version of blue? Like how it was in Victoria 2.
