As of 41.78 this mod is obsolete. Vanilla now properly supports maple syrup being added to pancakes and waffles without having to "recraft" them.

Once 41.78 goes public ( probably soon ) I'll flag this mod as hidden to avoid confusion for newer players. However I will not be deleting it from the steam workshop incase there are servers running the mod/modpack.

@Marcorius I went this route instead of the Recipe route because with just allowing spices the values barely changed and it didn't come out as "Maple Syrup Pancakes". It was just pancakes that had a tiny maple syrup icon and +2 calories.

I felt like of the two options this one fit my needs best and that's why I went with modifying the syrup instead of the recipe

Looking for new mods and this one seems to be a pretty nice fix. When I read the script I noticed that the mod is changing the base syrup item. Wouldn't be better to change the evolved recipe? In the game original script for Pasta/Rice you can add spices while "empty" with "CanAddSpicesEmpty:true,". Hope this also fixes the Happiness issue. Looking forward for the results.
