Sorry for the wait. This package has been updated to current file formats, so it should have less issues going forward. The files were about 2 years old or older, so I'm not surprised that 1.55 had issues converting them on the fly.

In the 1.55 open beta, this mod causes a crash (I removed it and could not reproduce the crash), I experienced the game crash near the Tulsa Freight depot with an error related to an outdated model version that the game reported was too old to convert

@Gienio59, This is self explanatory. If you are experiencing texture issues such lights(flares) not working or checkerboard like boxes covering lights(flares) the easiest trouble shoot is to start disabling mods 1-by-1 or in groups until you find which mod(s) are conflicting with other mods.

I run over 90+ mods usually switch between JBX and PNG without encountering conflicting issues using this mod. Disable any graphics mods then sit on a busy crossing to determine what works and what doesn't.

@TimmyBigTime After certain digging, I managed to find it was the Realistic Graphics Mod that Krys mentioned that was causing this. I disabled it and it then the lights started flashing.
I even tested with just that mod on its own and still gave the same result with the lights not flashing which is rather bizarre since I see other flashing lights near certain stop sign intersections and they work fine.
Surprised me that I couldn't find anything online about it given that quite a few people use the graphics mod and that nothing else had been mentioned about it or picked up on it

@FlammableSupernova I've been having the same issue for several weeks, now. The only mod I can think of that would be causing this is the Ruda flares mod. However, I removed it and it didn't fix the issue. Like you, I just can't find any helpful information on troubleshooting why the railroad crossing lights no longer illuminate.

The missing flashing lights will be caused by a flare, lighting, or graphics mod that you are using. I recall seeing one posting on the SCS Forums where a realistic graphics mod was causing the left turn arrows on traffic signals to not work properly.

I don't know if it is this mod or another one but I am having a hard time trying to pinpoint this issue from very few mods that could be causing this.
Basically I am getting no flashing red lights at any railway crossings. Only sounds and the barrier do go down.
I can't find much anywhere online either about anyone else having this particular issue

This is simply a model replacement mod. I'm not willing to mess with the semaphore profiles or the prefabs because I don't want to make this incompatible with other mods that adjust the signal timings and I don't think I can upload modified prefabs on the Steam Workshop.

I'll leave any sound changes to either Drive Safely's "Sound Fixes Pack" or others to handle. This package is just model replacements, which I am competent in doing. I have no knowledge of FMOD or how to do sounds and not really interested in trying to learn that.

That's on SCS to fix. They did something to the semaphore profile that is used for railroad crossings in Colorado. They have both the single-lane and 2-lane crossing gates piled on top of each other due to how the semaphore profile is configured for the crossings that don't have gantries.

Hey Krys, I do really love the mod. Out of curiosity, can we make a version of this for enhancing level crossings in ETS2 as well and give them a lot more variety? I know that it will take a while considering how many different types there are, but it would be a really cool idea!
