@Hiroo the animations in game randomized, but thats a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bracing handle to hold incase the recoil is too wrist-numbing, holding the magbox is favorable as well

they don't seem to actually "Suppress" (firing on your last known position to keep you pinned down) is that on purpose or is my addon breaking

Well there are like two other SNPC packs that already include all HL:A Combine SNPCs.

The main problem with this npc is that everytime an enemy gets close to them they have to back away in order to fight which kind of defeats the purpose of using this npc.

I've used this addon before and it's pretty good, but I uninstalled it for other reasons. Now I've picked it back up again, but the npc's don't appear in my spawn menu at all.

Unfortunately, when they enter "resting state", they lose their weapon, rendering them defenseless. It could be me, but nothing on my console command suggests anything wrong. Don't get me wrong; this is a great add-on, but its issue is getting in the way.

@Farbott there is a big chance you might have "BSMod - Stun & Death Animations" enabled and that might have caused the problem you were talking about.

Same here, It didnt give me an error log but only seems to happen with the machine gunners, shotgun suppressor works just fine. Odd since I dont have a mod that, downs people or any stalker mods. (yet)

Not too sure whats going on but after they melee you, theyll fall over like getting wounded in stalker, get up, try to shoot you and their gun despawns... ????

ah that makes sense, those breathing sounds are actually meant for when the soldiers are on low health and limping, though I think they're either cut or broken in the final game and don't play. you could probably swap them out the breathing for their some of their idle sounds and make them a bit less frequent, then it'll be just like the game.

The reason why because they sound like they're having a panic attack is because of the breathing sounds I used. I'll probably change those sounds in the future.
