I think the mod works perfect and delivers exactly what the title says, the simpler the better.

The only thing I would consider is the ability to use any magazine or comic, nevermind the 3D model. But It might be too common and easy to make hundreds of them. Another thing could be to be added as "fuel" for campfires as they're wasted full with 7 holes xD.

This common sense mod is life saving, it's a great must have for my actual save with sprinters, I've never been killed like I'm being now xD.

is it possible to change the parameters? it's a bit too strong for me my gamestyle, i shouldn't use it but this armor is the basis of every zombie apocalypse. It would be perfect if the level of maintenance and tailoring affected the defense %, so as to have only strong endgame parameters. However, wearing this armor should have some penalties, such as increasing clumsiness and decreasing movement, increasing the temperature and so on.

awesome, their teeth are not good at biting magazines, especially when the magazine is as thick as an armor plate

@Gameriel, should be compatible with the padded armor mod, as for the other stuff, the shin/leg armor idea, sounds like a great idea, but I personally have no time (or skill for that matter) to implement something like that. Especially considering that this mod was just someone else's code reformated for my own mod. It's likely that if I were to be the one to make something like this it would be very similar to another mod that has already made armor protection for that specific body part. glhf o/

Hey, is this compatible with the padded armor mod? would be neat to make more of similar armor with other materials.

Also more locational armor would be sick, like shin/leg armor or magazine pauldrons to protect the neck/upper arms or something, with reduced durability? (because taping magazines to your shoulders is probably alot less effective than wrapping them around your forearms, lets be honest)

You automatically learn it, it should be in the general tab. But you can click the 'filter for all' button in search bar and just type 'magazine' and it'll show up.

where do I find the recipe?

I'm having so much fun with this mod, although I got bit, but since the magazines acts as a shield, I didn't get the Bitten status on my body, still I got infected and died. Maybe you can check that out.
On the other hand, you should tweak down the over all amor a bit, maybe just to forearms, having all my upper body protected seems a bit op.
