The problem is not in cheat.
The problem is that until you have researched the technology, you cannot turn off the automatic mode. Simply because there is no button on the interface yet.
It would be logical that the automatic mode be turned off by default. As for all other rovers. And you COULD turn it on after researching the technology.

Part of the problem was solved after researching the technology of advanced rovers AI. At least the driller has a button that can turn off the automatic mode.
For some reason, when this mod is enabled, the automatic mode is enabled by default for drillers (but not for other rovers), even if the technology has not yet been researched, but it cannot be disabled, since there is no button yet.

Tried my patient transport route mod? You can setup a transport to wait for them, or do you prefer the go around the whole map and clean it up approach?

... The RC Driller comes with space race, there's no point in installing this mod without it.

2. get ChoGGi's all sponsor building/unit mod, which remove such limits.

I know it is probably right in front of me but I can't find the RC Driller anywhere even after researching the item to build RC's. Do I need a separate mod to get the driller?
