lol yeah, sorry about that. Right now, I'm dedicating near-enough all of my free time to doing new ship models for Sins of the Prophets. Once that releases this summer, this will be the top of my priority list again.

I checked my mod compilation in Irony Mod Manager. There (in the "Invalid" category) shows errors in your mod:

Error in localisation files, localisation\expanseships_l_russian.yml and for other languages, including English:
Report error to mod author: Expanse Portraits and Flags.
Error:
Missing separator near key: EMPIRE_DESIGN_Mars_desc.

I've been subscribed to your mod for a while, but I didn't know you were working on making shipsets too! I recently started trying to make my own Expanse shipset since I couldn't find any, but seeing your plans has me excited! I dont know much about modding but I've been learning. let me know if you need any help for the mod

Besides the broken portraits - everytime you launch the game and try to resume an ongoing game the emblem resets to some radom game generated one :/

Any plans on updating to 3.5? Currently all of the hairstyles are not selectable due to the game having replaced them with "attachments"

@MilanoMiliz yep! Full shipsets are planned for both the MCR and UN, including different shipsets for the TV show and the novels incarnations of these fleets (check out the Ships of the Expanse RPG book for examples of what I mean). No ETA yet as I'm also working on some ships for Sins of the Prophets, but things are definitely progressing well! Really hoping I can get something out this year some time.

Thank you, BaconShelf. I appreciate that. Yeah, I'm still tinkering around and discovering what works with what. It started showing up again this morning so as the mods I use get updated and I add them, I should be able to isolate any incompatibilities fairly easily. I'll let you know if I run across anything major that you need to know about.

@Mordanen - Just an update. I just booted up the game with only this mod enabled and the Expanse humans are showing up fine at the bottom of the portrait list. All I can offer is that another mod may be conflicting with it, but I'm unsure if there's much I can do to help that. If you figure out which mod is causing the conflict please let me know, and I'll see what I can do to fix that.

@Mordanen Hmm - could be an issue with the 3.1 update. Given the way they changed the humanoids, it might be an issue there. Will have a look - thanks for pointing this out!

Hello! I enjoyed using your mod last week - nice work!. This week when I tried using it, the Expanse humans aren't showing up in my list to select. I haven't seen any issues posted since July so I'm curious if anyone else is having a similar issue. Thank you.

There's a problem with the U.N Emblem where It has this weird square outline around It. It's not really noticeable at first, but when you start to expand It becomes more obvious. Here's two screenshots of what I'm talking about.

@Titan Tales Currently, yes. I did it like that as to make sure that if you pick an MCRN "species" (for example), you don't get the vanilla uniforms or those of the Laconian and UN navies showing up (and vice versa). Additionally, it's good practice in modding not to overwrite the basegame files as to make sure things are compatible with other mods - making the default humans have these uniforms would make the mod have a lot of conflicts with other mods.

@Ratzfatz-GER At the moment I'd be hesitant, as I do have plans to add more stuff in. Once this is in a more finished state I'd certainly be open to it.

Nothing much to say currently; I largely work on stuff as-and-when I feel like so I don't want to commit to any particular timeframes (I also work on some mod projects for other games too). Artist on the portraits has been busy recently so not sure when those will be getting in.

@Braincell I honestly have no idea lol, I have just over 400 hours in this game but not a single achievement because I always play with mods and funky galaxy setups. The best I can offer is that this mod changes portraits, leader backgrounds, start solar systems and namelists. If any of those invalidate achievement compatibility, then yeah it'll be incompatible. If you test it and find out either way, be sure to let me know so I can add it to the description

Update: Having looked at the texture files again there's really nothing I can do to make the UN logos bigger. In the case of the regular UN one, it's quite literally maxing out the texture boundaries - sorry!

@Shaftoe The logos in the in-game map still show up as white; however, I like to keep consistency with the vanilla styling where possible. As for the UN logos thing, I'll have a look next time i'm in the game and see as you may be right. At some point I do intend to make a template that I can use to determine where the visible bounds are which should help with consistency.

Great work!

But I suggest making logos WHITE instead of Stellaris default gold. Also, I recommend making them a bit larger - especially UN ones.
