this mod is still alive as far as i can tell. phalangites are recruitable by masillia and it feels really accurate for the greeks that are normally neglected. it seems very workable

The soldiers dont seem to be holding their spears above their heads for me. They also dont really engage eachother they just get close to eachother and stagger back and forth

My game currently crashes with this mod enabled. Is this great mod still being maintained?

I love that someone finally fixed how the hoplites hold their spears. My only criticism is that their formations are still way too spaced out. The key attribute of a hoplite phalanx was their density. The men would press their shields to the backs of the men in front of them, and the shields were actually held so that they would partially cover the weapon side of their left neighbor. If the spacing is fixed, I'll totally download this.

the phalangites work but the hoplites instead of doing any of your overarm or underarm animations they do the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ vanilla one :(

Great mod but it don't works with P15 beta and some hoplites have no sword and so the animation is with empty armed hand.

Your mod is fantastic Moon! I really enjoy watching hoplites actually form a reallistc hoplite phalanx. The only thing that is a bit weird is that the fourth row carries both spear and sword but I don't know if that is sth which can be fixed. We only need an update because your mod is not compatible with patch 15.

Please make a compatible mod for Radious and DEI ( once 1.0 comes out )! I have been trying to add a rank rotation to units myself for some time now, but I cant seem to figure out how. I did manage to get a new special abilities icon but it says "infantry_charge1" instead of rank rotation. Now, I believe I have added the necessary lines to the relevant tables, but I might have missed something important. I am new to modding, and I would be greatful if you could give me a few hints on this matter? Thanks in advance, and keep it up!

Your historical mod is really, really good but actually it's not compatible with other historical mods from Phalangitis (like medium_hellenistic_infantry.pack or Historically_Balanced_Skirmishers.pack eg). Do you think it's possible to do something or not ?

Just tried it, and it is compatible with DeI apperently....altough it knocked out my Realistic Legionary Tactics...
