Shinoskay May 29, 2024 @ 9:28pm

Unstable Energy Mar 28, 2024 @ 1:52am
Also getting a Black Screen on startup with just this up.
Unstable Energy Mar 28, 2024 @ 1:11am
Any Update for 1.5?
Spartagous Feb 8, 2023 @ 8:45pm
so this version seems to be the only version of jecstools i can use to get lightsabers and force users, in the official version i can't right click no context menus, makes it unplayable, so please keep it up
Ancalagon Nov 12, 2022 @ 8:25pm
@lbmaian I was just doing a full scrub of my modlist, and noticed JecsTools was back... but you kept this repo updated in real time with the main JecsTools! Thanks for all your support over the years!

@Redeye
Try unsubscribing/subscribing (or unsubscribing from this and subscribing to the official version)
Redeye Oct 24, 2022 @ 9:08am
game still says its 1.3
lbmaian  [author] Oct 21, 2022 @ 10:15pm
Synced with official version that's now (preliminarily) updated for RW 1.4
Ulterior The Panzie Oct 21, 2022 @ 5:49pm
I have no idea either but at the time of my original comment some people there were reporting that issue ahah
MrSpacePenguin Oct 21, 2022 @ 11:38am
that was fast answer! love you alot thank youuu <3
lbmaian  [author] Oct 21, 2022 @ 11:36am
Yes, Jecrell is working on it and should update soonish
Once he publishes the update, I'll sync this with that
MrSpacePenguin Oct 21, 2022 @ 11:33am
will this get update for 1.4?
lbmaian  [author] Oct 21, 2022 @ 11:27am
@Ulterior The Panzie
I have no idea how that's possible as it's currently the exact same version as the official one
Ulterior The Panzie Oct 10, 2022 @ 5:43pm
I think you should probably keep this version listed personally as, apparently, the official version still bricks the game (at times) compared to this one.
Bree Sep 22, 2022 @ 1:37pm
Is this still the "Better" version of Jecstools performance wise?
aZavar.Kul Jun 28, 2022 @ 9:39am
some items with chinese descriptions
HydroFrog64 Mar 27, 2022 @ 5:15pm
I wish it wasnt unlisted so I could add it to my collection since this is the version I'm using
Akro Mar 8, 2022 @ 6:16am
You unlisted it...Finally I figure out why I fail to add some mods to collection...
Kaluth Nov 18, 2021 @ 1:18pm
You were doing the Lord's work Ibmaian. :D
mjdecker123 Nov 8, 2021 @ 3:35am
Well I feel dumb. Been using this one over the Main lmfao. All is good tho
lbmaian  [author] Oct 26, 2021 @ 2:33pm
@Blazerik

Sorry, I unlisted this to avoid new users, so that they subscribe to the official version. It does make it harder to unsubscribe from this mod. I think there's still a link from the official JecsTools page comments section to here.
Blazerik Oct 26, 2021 @ 5:17am
man this mod was so hard to find so that I could unsub and get rid of needless packageid error. Ended up having to go through 100 pages of subscribed mods to find it because it wouldn't show up on normal searches and the about, xml linked me to harmony instead
Triggerith Aug 28, 2021 @ 9:50pm
Cool thank you for the speedy reply. Cheers!
lbmaian  [author] Aug 28, 2021 @ 9:49pm
Yes, you should switch over to the official one now. They're currently the exact same from RW's perspective (same packageId and same version).
Triggerith Aug 28, 2021 @ 9:16pm
do we need to switch over to official now?
OptimusGnarkill Aug 14, 2021 @ 12:33pm
Rimpy says mod and game version don't match. I'm guessing I can ignore that?
itchyrin Aug 11, 2021 @ 2:23pm
very thoughtful to keep it up until we remember to switch back to official. thank you!!
SetArk <Nyanverick 07> Aug 10, 2021 @ 7:53am
Ibmain!
Just wanted to say thanks for keeping the mod up-to-date while Jecrell couldn't update the official one!!
Awesome Possum Aug 7, 2021 @ 1:51am
thank you for keeping this up while you have!
lbmaian  [author] Aug 4, 2021 @ 3:14pm
Yes, either version is safe to use, regardless of what a workshop mod says it depends on (to RimWorld itself, since they share the same packageId, they look identical). I do recommend using the official version though. I'm only keeping this around to avoid breaking existing subscribers.
Bad Horse Aug 4, 2021 @ 3:05pm
A Rimworld of Magic just updated, but the author mentioned he built it against the official Jecstools (despite your version being in the required mods list, but that's probably from when Jercell left modding).

Since your staying in sync with the official version, I assume it should be fine to keep using yours regardless.
lbmaian  [author] Aug 2, 2021 @ 5:51am
Well I gotta keep the mod on the workshop to avoid breaking existing subscribers.

I could hide the mod (rather than removing it), so that existing subscribers retain it, but I'm not sure if they'll get further updates to the mod (and there will be updates since I have to keep in sync with the official version).
Svartarokkdreki Aug 2, 2021 @ 5:07am
Isnt it pointless this still staying on the workshop considering Jecrell updated his and you plan on keeping them in sync?
lbmaian  [author] Jul 31, 2021 @ 9:14pm
1.3.0.4 (07-31-2021)

Workaround for mod lists that contain other mods with an outdated copy of CompOversizedWeapon that's loaded before ours

lbmaian  [author] Jul 27, 2021 @ 6:39pm
Yes, both official and unofficial versions use the same packageId - even RimWorld itself complains if both are subscribed too at once. Fortunately, they're currently the exact same, and I'll keep them in sync as long as the official version gets updated.
Kaluth Jul 27, 2021 @ 6:35pm
I noticed that RimPy throws a hissy fit if you try and load both together saying that they're the same but I haven't tried it within RW itself. I guess I'll use the unofficial version just in case. :D
lbmaian  [author] Jul 27, 2021 @ 2:22pm
Well, mods that list a dependency on this unofficial version will work just fine with the official version. In fact, since both versions share the same packageId, RimWorld itself may not even notice any difference (might only affect steam workshop).
Kaluth Jul 27, 2021 @ 2:15pm
Fair enough, I noticed that some of the starwars mods are now 1.3 but need the unofficial version too.
Paolini Jul 27, 2021 @ 12:20pm
this is still needed for some mods that still use this (like rim of madness werewolve one)
lobosan Jul 27, 2021 @ 6:45am
thx @Ibmaian for your mod!
Kaluth Jul 27, 2021 @ 3:49am
Y'all know that the original JecsTools has been updated to 1.3 as he finally awoke from his slumber.
Dracupuncture Jul 27, 2021 @ 12:04am
thankyou for the 1.3 version while it was needed, you guys rock who do this
guiltyraven Jul 26, 2021 @ 10:58pm
for all that you have done. thank you.
why are we here? just to suffer? Jul 25, 2021 @ 7:18pm
thx for sync
evil yaoi wizard Jul 25, 2021 @ 3:48pm
thanks for syncing this to the official jecs tools, really prevents a huge headache until people switch back over
valkroth Jul 25, 2021 @ 8:43am
Thanks so much for keeping this alive in the interim!
Hyperventilator Jul 25, 2021 @ 4:08am
Thanks for having kept us afloat with this mod, while we had no other JecsTools :)
