Thanks for the awesome comment!

My GOD I have been trying to build something like this for an exploration ship for some time. This is a great build. Wish I had such an imagination as you. Thanks for the awesome build...

Thanks for the comment, I'm really glad you like it.
Blade Viridian 31. mar. 2020 kl. 17:57
Every time i look.. is just Damn... is good looking
Osker  [ophavsmand] 27. mar. 2020 kl. 16:43
From either the main control or hangar control seat use the detach rotor button on the toolbar then hit SHIFT+K and select the drone from the list. Then select the front camera on the drones toolbar. You won't see the drone on the remote control list until you detach it from the ship.
SlinkyAtol40 27. mar. 2020 kl. 15:47
hey how do you use the drone????
Osker  [ophavsmand] 20. mar. 2020 kl. 16:26
Awesome! and TY
Bart_Sloper 20. mar. 2020 kl. 13:42
thanks for the suggestion, the problem fixed itsself somehow. Guess it was just some SE weirdness. Ship has been nothing but great for the rest, keep up the great work
Osker  [ophavsmand] 20. mar. 2020 kl. 12:58
Every time I spawn the Oxbow in its air tight. I did have that issue one time and I never did figure out what broke it but it happened when I came through the landing pad airlock. I spawn this ship in a lot and I’ve used it a lot and only had a problem one time. That bieng said, air tightness in SE is wonky at best. This might sound crazy but maybe try replacing the air lock doors to give air tightness another chance to recognize that they are there. Let me know if you find the issue.
Bart_Sloper 20. mar. 2020 kl. 4:54
We build the ship and noticed that the there is no o2 anywhere, im also unable to find the leak using a mod i have. is this a known issue?
Osker  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2020 kl. 17:44
Thanks for the heads up, it was a mistake, they were meant to be connected.
Aldjeron 17. mar. 2020 kl. 17:38
@Cougarbait We built your fine ship today..we found Cryo-chambers not being connected to O2. Easy fix we just added the conveyors behind them. but maybe they were supposed to be laying on their backs to connect under them? Wasn't sure, figured I'd post about it.
Osker  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2020 kl. 9:27
Or just make it so it can land on planets but keep it an asteroid miner
Osker  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2020 kl. 9:23
@jon_chris ... Yes! I want to make a smaller version with less interior so it's more practical for survival and make it interplanetary as well. So new ship, new miners, new drone.
Osker  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2020 kl. 9:21
@Stachu Jones ... I don't use mods, just scripts, and I've never had the problem you're describing. I hope you get it figured out, must be frustrating.
Jon The Engineer 17. mar. 2020 kl. 8:30
next up is the mk 3 with the ability to go interplanetary as well as mine (maybe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ more of a suggestion but was trying to make a joke)
Stachuuuj 17. mar. 2020 kl. 7:26
I'm not sure yet if it's some mod issue, me doing something wrong or something being funky with the script, but whenever I hop into those miners and start PAM process (making a path, selecting what size of hole it is supposed to make) I get all of those miners stuck. It goes somewhere from 5 to 10m from the surface, moves back&forth a bit and I see "Last: Ship stuck. Retrying."

I'm going to check it again on new world without mods I suspected to be an issue or maybe contact the PAM creator if no one else experienced this on those miners. Also I should check other PAM designed miners that are not part of this blueprint to see if it does the same thing.
Osker  [ophavsmand] 17. mar. 2020 kl. 6:24
Thanks Braelok, means a lot
Braelok 17. mar. 2020 kl. 3:02
This ship is so unique in design and beautifully executed. Well done!
Osker  [ophavsmand] 16. mar. 2020 kl. 18:28
Glad to hear it!
D.Wrult 16. mar. 2020 kl. 18:04
@Cougarbait Sorry for the late reply, I had asked about converting a couple miners to salvagers. Your explanation and link was very helpful, it's working at this moment, thanks! Once again, GREAT ship(s)!
Osker  [ophavsmand] 16. mar. 2020 kl. 14:41
I'd be honored that you took the time to talk about something I worked on, good or bad
Vroom_NASCAR 16. mar. 2020 kl. 13:11
@Cougarbait First off let me say i love this ship and how you have made a ship in a unique silhouette. And i was wondering whether i could feature this ship in a showcase video?
Osker  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2020 kl. 10:07
@-Devastator- ... I honestly haven't had power issues with this ship even with realistic settings on, but, you can do things to save a bit of power. You don't need to run all 4 refineries, you can turn off a couple of O2 generators if Hydrogen is in decent supply, things like that. Make sure you're not full throttle burning everywhere but just using the thrusters to get some speed then coasting with inertia dampeners turned off. Also, its not much, but the new version has solar panels that add a bit of passive energy regeneration. I'm not an expert, I'm still learning SE, those are just suggestions.
Osker  [ophavsmand] 15. mar. 2020 kl. 9:51
@troublesum .... I replaced the Moles with the M-49 on this version of the Oxbow. The M-49's are set up with camera's so you can use them like drones and/or check up on them. One camera points at a Pam screen so you can navigate the Pam menu, one points forward, one back, and so on.
-Devastator- 15. mar. 2020 kl. 8:43
Hey bro, another question, what’s the optimal power saving settings for this ship?
Cause u asked Mordoe if he/she has all systems running, and that consumes a lot of power...so what’s the best power saving mode? Cause I have a very limited supply of uranium haha XD
Mr.Robot 15. mar. 2020 kl. 7:21
Loving this ship quite a bit, the only thing I wish is that the moles/miners had cameras on them so you could check on them from the seat. Outside of that great ship, will be doing a lot of mining in this.
Osker  [ophavsmand] 14. mar. 2020 kl. 16:27
@Mordoe ..... Thanks for the feedback. I don't know all the details like, did you try to start out with the Oxbow, did you full burn everywhere, did you keep everything running? All I know is I've used this ship in survival with realistic settings and it enhanced my single player experience.
Far_Reach 14. mar. 2020 kl. 13:07
Building an original Oxbow kinda killed my singleplayer experience, the ship is VERY hungry on power, making finding uranium critical.
Osker  [ophavsmand] 14. mar. 2020 kl. 3:02
No, unless you have some made skills that I can't fathom I just don't think it has enough hydrogen thrust.
-Devastator- 14. mar. 2020 kl. 0:48
Hey cougar, i might have missed it but can this awesome ship land on planets?
Osker  [ophavsmand] 13. mar. 2020 kl. 1:01
And thanks -Devastator- 8)
Osker  [ophavsmand] 13. mar. 2020 kl. 0:47
Should work, aside from the attached ships, there are no subgrids unless you count the drone docked to a rotor.
-Devastator- 13. mar. 2020 kl. 0:43
Hey, is this ship survival ready? As in it can be printed? Great ship by the way :)
Osker  [ophavsmand] 13. mar. 2020 kl. 0:10
@ AIIR ... I posted this ship in hopes that people would have the experience you just described, can't begin to tell you how much your comment just made my day.
AIIR 12. mar. 2020 kl. 23:45
The ship is amazing mate, Tried it out last night for a few hours and didnt get bored. Interior looks nice. Read your instructions for PAM and now i finaly get it... lol. But overall great ship well done.
Osker  [ophavsmand] 12. mar. 2020 kl. 17:49
@Toughbeard .... ty, and you're very welcome
@Thewierdmelon ...... ummm ...... Maybe merge blocks instead of pistons and remotely control a section of the ship away to expose the drill bits? Either way, your right, weird and funky. But weird and funky can be fun.
gangstalicious 12. mar. 2020 kl. 14:33
weird idea what if you put pistons in the middle of the ship so it splits apart and put drills inside the open part so it eats asteroids. ya know??? that would be funky
Judge Kronos 11. mar. 2020 kl. 23:02
Love the design. My computer can not handle that many scripts running unfortunately. I have been testing with my old base where I have 3 auto miners and a second ice base with one plus a transport between the ice base and the main base and the sim speed just went down to hell. I am building a new computer and this thing will definately get added to that world as it saves me the time to make mine for space ;) Thank you.

Also very good PAM tutorial especially on how to use the script. All the tutorials are for setting it up but when you get to use it things behave differently and I lost 2 drones to testing.

Subbed uprated favorited :)

Voting you the best friend 2020
tamagotshe 11. mar. 2020 kl. 19:45
Voting this the best mining ship 2020 :slimehappy::SYMSheart:
Osker  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2020 kl. 17:40
Man, I couldn't agree with you more, I'm way to dumb to ever write a script but the guys you listed do amazing work.
paradox 11. mar. 2020 kl. 17:35
Great work Cougarbait, couldn’t ask for or dream of a better mining ship thanks for sharing also a big thanks to MMaster, Isy, Keks and 3zanders for the scripts used to make it possible.
Osker  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2020 kl. 17:09
I have that idea brewing as well, could be a fun build
Teksorbkyva 11. mar. 2020 kl. 17:03
Legit had an idea for a ship like this, but with a military role. Very cool~
Osker  [ophavsmand] 11. mar. 2020 kl. 3:49
Thanks Vomsay, I really appreciate the comment
Vomsay 11. mar. 2020 kl. 3:37
