For some reason this mod just deletes the eyes for the legacy astoriel and trenchcats... its a little creepy.

If you want the eyes not to be drawn on mods intending on overwriting the textures I'd recommend using the non-HAR version of this mod, as the eyes are rendered differently than the head and body textures.

I've run into an issue where eyes are drawn over pawns with apparel that would otherwise hide their eyes. This also includes textures for Babies and Children, which gives youths 4 eyes total.
The regular version of this mod doesn't work either, and I load it at the bottom of the load order.

@Detective Josephus Miller Rimcraft Races have a single crown-Type for each of the races currently due to them having a custom head texture. They do however all have the scar/damaged eye custom textures.

Sounds good. I'm quite happy that Tynan implemented visuals for bionics and wounds into vanilla rimworld like this mod.

Updated to 1.3. Currently mod disables all bionic eyes as they tend to look trash. Have yet to make an alternative texture for them, which I may do in the future.

@hugetoad yeah, i totally agree, 1.3's textures for wounds and bandages just SUUUUCK, especially the bandages, dear god, it looks like your pawn is covered in styrofoam

@DeadlyFISHYS it only breaks textures for children due to texture stuff, you could probably make a patch yourself if you have the know-how (maybe a C# script that says "okay, is this a kid? let's make this pawn use an asset thats specifically for kids")

@hugetoad At some point yes, no ETA currently though since I'll have to figure out how I want to incorporate changes in the mod, as vanilla does a similar task that this mod did.

Yeah that's another limitation of HAR unfortunately.

Ah okay, also you can still see colonist's eyes even when they are covered by their hair or another colonist, is this due to the same problem with HAR or something else?

@Hpika I believe the eye problem is an issue with HAR and I don't believe I'm capable of fixing it.

A bit of a problem, but whenever dead pawns rot into skeletons, or are decapitated their eyes still stay there when they shouldn't be.

Actually nvm, I found a better solution by going into the BnC files and removing the eyes from the textures in photoshop makes it so only the HD eyes spawn. Although it does make the eyes really low down on the head but I think it's kinda cute lol, so gonna keep it.

If anyone is using Babies and Children with this mod, be aware that it causes issues for the faces of children - children from BnC have their own head textures that include eyes - which this mod will then draw eyes over - this causes some pretty noticeable visual errors with all child pawns.

@Halcy It's likely because that mod uses the base head textures from default humans, which this modifies to be blank. You'll either want to make an XML patch so that eyes get added the same way this mod does to humans, or use the non-HAR version where the textures don't have the eyes rendered as body addons.

This mod breaks faces for hybrid Orassans for some reason. They sometimes appear without facial features.

Well I just had him get yet another scar in his eye, still nothing showing up. Im assuming its an incompatibility but nothing I have installed changes the colonists face texture. I guess ill just use my imagination because most of my mods are kinda essential to the save

@TheFemBoyJackal Likely not. Haven't encountered someone with this issue before, but with how things work I don't believe there's a way to apply it retroactively. Your best bet if you want them to accurately show would be to use devmode to remove the scars, and then re-add them. If you do that, they -should- show up.

Does this mod work in a pre existing save? I have a human colonist with two mangled scars on his eyes yet he looks fine.

@Long Titty Tyrone You're likely using a mod that either overwrites the head textures, or you're using a race that references the base head textures.

I tried to load your mod with BBbody at his bottom, and it seem to work well. Eyes seem not to be misplaced.

@Aquiles Yeah I have no idea how you'd be able to have the issue as I subbed to the mod on a personal save and the babystate reference wasn't there. Nowhere in the XML does it reference the babystate either. You'll probably want to go in and manually delete the mod in your workshop content files and try again that way.

@Aquiles I'd suggest unsubbing and resubbing as the update of 10/29 has removed the def that was causing that errror.

Got an error when I tried this out again today.

"Could not resolve cross-reference: No Verse.HediffDef named BabyState found to give to AlienRace.AlienPartGenerator+BodyAddonHediffGraphic"

It might be something weird going on with how that androids mod interacts with the Human def. This mod replaces textures of the pawn's head to a blank face, and adds HAR body addons for the custom eyes.

well after i made that comment and after i unsubbed from your mod, the error still occured, i think i may be going minimalistic on rimworld. but speaking of pawns, for some reason, when it comes to the androids race, they dont have their eyes render in, sure their eye glow renders in, but it's creepy to look at something that has eye glow but no eyes

@warmainiac Would need to see specific error logs/pictures to specifically know what's wrong. And you may want to tweak your mod setup as that sounds like another mod trying to mess with the pawn renderer.

so i got errors involving pawn drawing and it somehow caused my hud to disapear almost completely exept for my android colonist
