You should merge this with the quest and map markers. Fantastic mods dude.

Could you possibly make a map version? It would be cool to have a completely unlabled map, with just little x's where the locations of the masks are. It's even more vague and adventure-y.

Thank you so much for making this!

Never mind - I just Unsubscribed and resub'd and it was there this time. Currious, but oh well ... all is good. NICE BOOK, well done!!

I have it activated and could not get the journal, either. I used the HELP command and typed in DragonPriestMaskJournal 0 and could not get the code to "additem".

I would really like to read the journal .. Thanks!

Just came across the Wooden mask today, and forgot that I had a mod installed until I came looking through my subscriptions tonight. Your book feels right in with the lore, yet I would agree that it might be a bit spoilerish (or perhaps, to say obvious). Yet, since I've just started continuing on with the MQ and learning about the Dragon Cult, I'm sorry to say I can't suggest how to improve it -- at least not yet.

I like this mod, and I'd like to make a suggestion. Rather than worrying about spoilers and whatnot, why not make two versions of the mod?

One of the mods can give you a book that simply contains the location of each mask, for those who don't care about the story or don't want spoilers.

The other can give you a book that is filled with as much lore as possible (or that you feel like adding) about each Dragon Priest, their maks, and where they are rumoured to be buried.

I love reading the books in Skyrim, so if I'd definitely go for the lore heavy version if you do take my advice.

And lastly, making the journal give you a quest that provides map markers for each mask would be a nice touch, but not at all essential.

An excellent addition to the game - this would otherwise see me checking wikis online. Keep up the great work.

haha better than watch a bunch of videos on youtube or reading the wikki, great work man!

I must thank you for your excellent mod. It is a no-brainer for anyone playing Skyrim on PC and it really enhanced my Skyrim experience profoundly. I was so impressed with your mod that I decided to add it to my permanent collection: The Intrepid Skyrim. Please rate and fave if you like it (and even if you don’t). Yep it was activated and everything, but no worries I just used the additem function to spawn it!

@jobonamihas
Have you activated the mod in your Data Files? I can't think of anything that would conflict with it, but you can test this by temporarily moving it to the very end of your load order. The only thing I can think of is maybe you used some explosive spells in the area and it blew the book away.

Really like the idea of the mod, however, when I load it, it dosen't seem to spawn the book. I hate using online guides so this mod is vital to my game! Is there any compatability issues when using this mod? The book just dosen't appear :(

I liked your mod so much I added it to my permanent collection; http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=72755638 ...to help spread the word of your good work.

This is a very nice idea! I really disliked not knowing where to begin to look for the dragon priest masks in game :)
Varggorm 2012. máj. 20., 7:32
it felt so cool to finally find all 8!
hint: many of them are around the edges of the map
Zodman 2012. ápr. 6., 19:29
this sounds like a good idea, will try it for sure
Necronblue 2012. ápr. 5., 10:22
i felt the same as you did, wandering around wondering if there was any point to getting the masks, glad to make it a little more involving. good idea!
none 2012. ápr. 4., 20:29
It was a real let down when I exited the Mask room in the Past, only to find the world ends at the doorway! No past world travel possible was a real let down... Thanks for more Mask info !!!
Hooligonzo 2012. ápr. 3., 11:15
Good idea. It's not a very well developed part of the game or its lore.
