Yeah, back in my minecraft modding days, that was what evereryone did. They just posted thier mods through an adf.ly link. You just had to watch like a 5 second ad before downloading. Evereyone was happy, it was a win-win.

@TheGreyLight It's great to see someone with a good outlook on this situation. Valve is dividing the community here, and I think your ideas about an ad show would be the best way to find a middle ground. I've enjoyed all of your mods, thank you for being an awesome content creator :)

In response to the recent changes to steam which allow creators to charge for mods:

To be honest im really dissapointed. One of the best things about modding is that it was free and available to everyone. It is was community creating imaginitive content for other people to enjoy. There were no restrains to what could be done. It was such a special thing for me as a creator to share my little piece of the world with everyone, and paying for mods really ruins it.

I can understand why steam would think that this would be beneficial for the creators. Supporting creators for thier works seems like a good idea in theory. But it isnt about the money, its about the joy of creating, and having others experience your creation...

...I always used to get so much excitement from viewing the front page, and looking at all of the amazing content everyone has created. All of it free and available for everyone to enjoy. Soon it will just be a wall full of numbers and closed doors. It will be a dissapointment, looking at all the content you could have if you were richer. These days it seems like every game is becoming pay to play.

Modding should be free. If you really want to support creators steam, have an ad show before download. This way the content is still free, and creator still get a bit of money for their work. Monitzation is going to kill this community. It will suck all the life and joy out of modding for everyone.

Even though im not actively creating mods anymore, all of my mods will remain free forever. Im really sorry this has happened, an I wish it werent the case.

@Agent Blackout for further reference you can just go into 'Data Files' when launching the game, find the mod and untick the box next to the name of the mod to uninstall it and then check it to reinstall it so you don't have to bother subbing and un-subbing. :)

I got the same bug, TheBannedConsole. Annoying that I had to unsub for even a minute, cause I love this mod! Kinda glad I did, tho, cause I got to look at some more mods when I resubscribed!

Looks really good, I can't wait to try it out. Will all feared enemies not glow red even ones not feared by a shout (A spell or 'Battle Cry')? In any case, it looks like a good mod, you are truly a great mod maker.

Hi. Don't know if this has been posted before, but I've found a bug. When Arngeir (However you spell it) askes you to Fus him, it just says you haven't demonstrated it and you can't progress further without taking out the mod temporarilly.
Not that this matters, it's a great mod, I just thought you'd like to know.

I've checked if its the same for other mods by downloading one from steam workshop and the same thing happens. So the same thing happens for other mods as well. Quite strange. :/

Okay, subscribed to the mod, it downloaded without problems, however i can't see it in my load order and i can't see the mod files in my Data folder. :/

That's strange :/ They shouldn't be hidden and they would be anywhere else. Okay just try step 3 and see what happens.

Hey, thanks for replying. I've unsubbed the mods went into my skyrim data folder and the mod files aren't there. Could the mod files be hidden or in another folder?

@SamsoniteGuitarMan Try this:

1) Un-sub to both mods.

2) Go into your data folder and delete the actual mod files both mods.

3) Re-sub to the one you want to use and wait for it to download.

Hopefully that will fix it :)

I have a small problem, i unsubscribed and deleted the standard edition to get this version instead, but when i subscribed to this one and downloaded it, it won't show in my load order and won't work. When i tried going back to the standard version, that stopped showing in my load order and stopped working as well. Can anyone help?

this mod makes the final part of forbidan legends impossible, heres the scenario, phase 2 of the boss gauntlet, time for archer, except he can use fus ro dah, second, his arrows asorb magika, third, 4 duplicates will spawn around him THAT CAN USE FUS RO DAH, and have much lower health, that get restored when he teleports himself and them around, you cant get any shots off cause you constently on the ground from the FUS RO FRIEKIN DAH,
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP ME!!!!!

(thegreylight lease know that i was just agrey at this, please fix this so with you mod installed it isnt impossible to do the boss fight)

Nordic Unbound causes all shouts to have no cooldown. Its not a bug, thats wha the mod does :) You only need to use one of those two mods though, they are not ment to be used together.

Ive encountered a problem, i only have nordic edition and nordic unbound but ever single dragon shout have 0 cooldown? anyone let me know what ive done wrong?

This mod works well, but makes "The way of the voice" uncompletable. My guess is that all the greybeards can't be knocked down. I got to the part where you have to shout at them (I had the mod running) and when I shouted the game said "Arngeir has resisted Fus." My guess would be that the greybeards can't be knocked down, and changing unrelenting force so that it knocks things down at all levels is screwing this quest up.
