lwj 5573 16. Okt. 2015 um 13:38 Uhr
dont go in after midnight ya get attacked. even though the door was open, ya end up with a bounty. which means if ya fighting for the Imperials it might get tricky,

Can you plz put this up on Nexus?
Brezlon 27. Apr. 2015 um 21:36 Uhr
Sweet! Make sure to put it up on Nexus so people have an opportunity to donate there. ^^
Jamey  [Autor] 27. Apr. 2015 um 18:52 Uhr

Welp, paid mods are gone so.....My new Chef Mod entitled "The Hungry Cliffracer Farmhouse" is now out!

Enjoy! :3
Brezlon 26. Apr. 2015 um 20:15 Uhr
Yeah, definitely wait till Monday/Tuesday until Gaben does his announcement. Then you'll have a better idea what to expect from all this.

Also, it's sad to note many of the big named mods have already been taken down in the Workshop for stealing assets. People are still frothy over that. Wet & Cold recently was slapped with a DMCA notice. I'm not sure if it's still available anymore.

As an aside, I would look into how another Steam modder has set up their paid system. They added "Donate" in the title, set the minimum to $0.30 & then linked the free version on Nexus. Seems plenty of people have given them kudos for taking that type of route. Just something to consider.
Jamey  [Autor] 26. Apr. 2015 um 19:20 Uhr

Thanks for the info! I'll check it out!

And thanks! My next mod is actually already done, but I'm probably gonna wait until at least next weekend to release it until all this blows over. :P

Brezlon 25. Apr. 2015 um 13:04 Uhr
As a modder, you have an option to request such features. Or at least I hope so.

You know what would be the BEST option overall? A Pay What You Want WITH featuring the Top 3 donators. There are so many people who'd love to show that they support their favourite modder, or even just to show off they could afford to donate that much. It'd be a win-win-win.

Check this study out:

(Also I say tentatively, while Valve/Bethesda aren't forcing us now, they could be in the future with take-down notices on Nexus and other sites. That's why everyone's so shaky, this could kill the modding community.)

Thank you again and good luck with your future mods!
Jamey  [Autor] 25. Apr. 2015 um 12:57 Uhr

I'll very likely wait a week or two until the dust settles. In the meantime, I'm going to spend my sweet time on this new mod to make sure that everyone gets more than their money's worth. If I'm gonna sell my mods, I'm not going to half-ass it. I'm going to give the community something wonderful. :)

A donation button would be great and I would be glad to put that on all my mods if given the option. I hope that Steam will give us that option, and if they do give us that option to donate rather than charge money for download, it's likely that I'll go for the donation button for all my mods. I'm actually excited to see how this will change the modding community. Valve and Bethesda are not forcing us to do anything; The decision to charge for cetain mods is made by the modders themselves, like me.

As for the Nexus; I'll consider it :D

Brezlon 25. Apr. 2015 um 12:42 Uhr
Jamey, thank you for keeping this free. That's wonderful.

I know you have your own stance of things but can I recommend wholeheartedly to avoid putting up any paid mods on Steam in the next few weeks? At least allow this to blow over & hopefully they work on a donation button instead. A lot of the paid mods atm are sadly being pirated & distributed around the net. I wouldn't want your hard work to go that way, esp with people then flagging you as a greedy modder. :(

I think people would gladly donate than be faced with a paywall. I recommend to put it on Nexus since there's already a donate button there. Just ask more politely "If you like this, please donate. ANY amount will do, even a few cents!"

(When people have an option to not pay, but can donate, it's a fact some people will pay MORE out of generosity!)
Jamey  [Autor] 25. Apr. 2015 um 12:26 Uhr
@Brezlon Absolutely. It will always and forever remain free. :) I have no plans on charging money for any of the mods I have currently on the workshop that began as free. However, I am currently working on a paid mod that adds a chef who sells various food and new food items at a farm market outside of Solitude, which I will sell at a very cheap price of $0.25. Even when I do make paid mods, I will make sure that they won't cost much at all :)
Brezlon 25. Apr. 2015 um 11:37 Uhr
Pardon to ask during such a crazy time, but will this mod stay free? It's so neat.
Venemal 20. Feb. 2015 um 12:55 Uhr
nice mod because i love Dunmer
Brezlon 9. Feb. 2015 um 14:57 Uhr
*Edit* Scratch that. User error. :)
khazan99 4. Feb. 2015 um 8:09 Uhr
nice mod, i like the interior space a lot, and the "puzzle" was clever too. thanks!
Kalona The Ravenant 30. Jan. 2015 um 12:32 Uhr
*jimmy hoffa* oops!
Kalona The Ravenant 30. Jan. 2015 um 12:27 Uhr
not only do the kajiit & merchant disappear, but it seem's to effect the fort gnisis mod as well. you enter FG through the same border the trading shack is on. several reaver bandits & an optional follower in one of the FG apartments have seemed to pull a kimmy hoffa. it's obvious these 2 mods connect. also, the merchent bitch's at you for "trespassing" at appropriate hours of the day if you're not dunmer.
Jamey  [Autor] 17. Nov. 2014 um 20:32 Uhr
@astrogazer He will sell to you, just at certain times of the day. ;)
astrogazer 17. Nov. 2014 um 12:07 Uhr
Seems you have to chamge vender factions or vender refuses to sell to you
astrogazer 16. Nov. 2014 um 20:29 Uhr
Morrowind Border shack does not seem to effect the fort gnisis mod. The trick in celler is with hidden book and the pillar rotation.
Korsall Kaiser 29. Okt. 2014 um 21:18 Uhr
@Jamey So the spell IS from this mod though right?
Kalona The Ravenant 26. Okt. 2014 um 20:34 Uhr
the fort gnisis mod is across the morrowind/skyrim border, right where the traiding shack is.. & no, it doesn't really corrupt. it's full've reavers though, lol. couldn't figure out that puzzle in the celler, by the way. had to console my way in the door.
Jamey  [Autor] 26. Okt. 2014 um 15:32 Uhr
@ravenwolf2 I don't know what that mod is, so I don't know.
Kalona The Ravenant 26. Okt. 2014 um 3:32 Uhr
would this corrupt with the fort gnisis mod?
Jamey  [Autor] 19. Okt. 2014 um 17:55 Uhr
@Korsall Kaiser I'm not sure what's causing the sentance repeating. Sorry
Korsall Kaiser 17. Okt. 2014 um 22:09 Uhr
Hey uhh, I'd like to bring up my previous question. I'm still interested in an answer.
Jamey  [Autor] 15. Okt. 2014 um 20:35 Uhr
@astrogazer From time to time, yes :)
astrogazer 15. Okt. 2014 um 18:38 Uhr
Is this mod still being updated.
Korsall Kaiser 6. Mai 2014 um 18:04 Uhr
Hey uhh, quick question. I'm trying to get to the bottom of something I just noticed (Perhaps forgot about). I know you can buy tomes for the ash spawn/guardian, but is there also a tome that gives you a summon skeleton spell? Cause I just noticed one and it's desc is the same sentence over and over again... I checked to see if any of my mods were recenly updated with that and nothing. I checked my most recenly subscribed mods and nothing. The only thing I can think of is my recent, very first visit to the trading shack in which I bought several of the tomes.

any conflicts that may cause both the shop keeper and his servant to not spawn?
sstexpress 8. Apr. 2014 um 13:36 Uhr
ty for sending it looks really really good keep up the great work
Jamey  [Autor] 6. Apr. 2014 um 13:05 Uhr
@astrogazer @larraklisberg Perhaps in the future yes, though I'd still like to make improvements before it goes on there. :)
sstexpress 5. Apr. 2014 um 22:46 Uhr
ty its awesome
astrogazer 2. Apr. 2014 um 12:31 Uhr
Will you be putting this also on "" ??
Karl Franz 15. Feb. 2014 um 12:45 Uhr
Hey I really like the mod, Any chance you could upload it to the nexus?
[PS] REDDEATH 2. Jan. 2014 um 22:24 Uhr
good job with this mod. the shop keeper turned up to my wedding :)
Kelrik Kenning 13. Dez. 2013 um 0:43 Uhr
Yes, still no luck. Sorry.
Jamey  [Autor] 21. Nov. 2013 um 13:45 Uhr
@Adalwin Did you pull the lever left of the door, rather than click on the door itself?
Kelrik Kenning 21. Nov. 2013 um 13:11 Uhr
Hi! Really liking the mod, with one question: Once you have solved the puzzle in the cellar, what then? the door refuses to open with any combination of pillars. Followed the book, no luck. Is this a bug, or am I just doing it wrong?
Jamey  [Autor] 3. Nov. 2013 um 15:49 Uhr
@Kemikal Thanks! and, Hammerfell's Border Tower is just around the corner :)
Kemikal 3. Nov. 2013 um 14:57 Uhr
Oh, looks good!
Jamey  [Autor] 3. Nov. 2013 um 13:35 Uhr
@ Kemikal I already made it. Check my workshop items.
Kemikal 3. Nov. 2013 um 13:31 Uhr
Having an inn on the Cyrodiil border would be graet for your next mod, there are too few inns in the wilderness in my opinion.
Jamey  [Autor] 3. Nov. 2013 um 9:04 Uhr
@Ruin Stormshower Done! :) Will be in next update.
Ruin Stormshower 2. Nov. 2013 um 23:32 Uhr
Can you make him sell scrolls aswell? Thank you. :)
Jamey  [Autor] 30. Okt. 2013 um 9:43 Uhr
@Ebonhart Pact & Aldmeri Domion I'll be adding a few more robes, but not everything from Solstheim/Dragonborn, because if I add everything from Solstheim into this shack, what's the point in going to Solstheim you know? :)
Ebonhart Pact & Aldmeri Domion 22. Okt. 2013 um 1:12 Uhr
can you add the Telvani Robes & Telvani Shoes & All Other Varients As Well Please Sush As Heart Stone Robes, Dragon Robes, Bonmold Robes, Chitin Robes & Heart Stone Dragon Robes Please.
Polar 17. Okt. 2013 um 17:01 Uhr
