v1.6.1
Thanks to TeH_Dav's report, I was able to notice the problem. Thank you for letting me know.
- Added new patches to switch the animal to be cure depending on whether or not active the Odyssey DLC.
- Discontinued 1.6 support for the discontinued animal mod (VAE - Caves).
There may still be problems, so if you notice any, please report them in the workshop comments. Thank you.
Thank you for reporting the problem. I forgot about the animals in the Odyssey DLC because the update stopped in the Unstable version. I will check it.
It seems that the VE team is providing many animals for the new Odyssey DLC, so I'm looking forward to it. Many of them are animals that were used in Vanilla Animals Expanded (ex; panda), so I don't think there will be any problems.
v1.6.0
- Update for Unstable version RimWorld 1.6.4498 rev155.
- Add new 2 insects " Alpha Animals ", locusts and small butterflies.
RimWorld v1.4 is also supported.
Ok done!
Update : 25 Nov, 2024
v1.5.4
- Now supports Animal Collab Project Vanilla-Style .
It is now possible to treat diseases of animals added by mod.
Thanks to Taemaly for suggesting this.
This is just a patch applied to DE Surgeries for various animal mods, so any version (Normal/HARD/RBSE only) will work.
v1.5.3
- The cause of this problem was that LoadFolders.xml, a corresponding directory specified in v1.5, remained unusable in v1.4. As a precautionary measure, an old type of solution has been added to the patch for v1.4.
- v1.4 folder and v1.5 folder are individually.
Probably, the problem of the patch is a little bigger and the problem is gone. Please report if the problem has been resolved after the update. Thank you for reporting.
v1.5.2
- Added patch for Palm Cats .
- The patch folder has been reconstructed.
- LoadFolders.xml has also been updated.
- Mod dependencies (Vanilla Expanded Framework and Harmony) has been deleted from About.xml.
v1.5.1
- Fixed patch. Removed <nomatch> part from the patch, that caused a patch error to be loged.
@尘枭甚上
Thank you for reporting this issue. Thank you so much.
If the error is still logged, please report it.
- Update for Rimworld 1.5.4069.
- Manifest file for Mod Manager has been deleted.
- Update mod animal compatibility patches.
Initially, this mod was targeted only at Alpha Animals, but the user's wishes also support the animals of "Vanilla Animals Expanded".
A Dog Said Mod supports both mods. This mod does not support animal injuries and prostheses.
As described, this patches to enable the use of the "DE Surgeries" system to treat animal diseases (animal flu and animal plague) not found in "A Dog Said".
I hope your precious animals do not suffer from serious illness.Thank you.
Is this mod needed while using a Dog said patch for animals?, Just getting back into the Rim after a Long break.
v1.4.3
- Update RimWorld 1.4.3704.
- Supported Fangsquid and Ravager of Alpha Animals .
But I agree with you that new mods keep coming in 1.4 is a good thing.
I am happy if I have met your expectations.
v1.4.2
- Update RimWorld 1.4.3542.
- Added compatibility patches for the following mods.
Vanilla Animals Expanded
Vanilla Animals Expanded — Royal Animals
Vanilla Animals Expanded — Caves
- Changed the name of this mod from "DE Surgeries - Alpha Animals patch" to "DE Surgeries - Mod Animals patch" as it now supports multiple mods.
- Removed Alpha Animals from required mod.
Your wellcome!

Hello. If I have time, I will consider it.
Currently, I'm researching and testing the Biotech DLC and doing research for the next RimWorld update, so it's hard to find a lot of time. But I plan to do so in the future. Thanks for the suggestion.
I reverted the version. Thank you for your comment.
- reverted version 1.4.1
I confirmed that there was no problem, so I will send it back. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The reason is that Cyber Fauna has the same function to treat animal diseases, with DE Surgeries. This is because I wanted to avoid having the same surgery menus lined up.
It doesn't matter if Cyber Fauna supports animals added in Alpha Animals. Since Cyber Fauna and DE Surgeries conflict, this mod, which is a sub-mod, also added incompatibility to avoid conflicts.
v1.4.2
- Added incompatibility with Cyber Fauna .
v1.4.1
- Fixed modDependencies in About.xml (add Harmony and Vanilla Expanded Framework).
