The reload animation is solely responsible for the reload speed. Not having them at all allows the shells to be just refilled immediately.
But that would not work nicely online.

This mod that ports the "Fournicator" From Postal has a clever trick where it has a reload animation that doesn't load in individual shells, and shortly after it plays, the shells get loaded in super quickly.
Maybe this technique could help with magazine fed semi-auto shotguns such as this one? Either way, I'm gonna use this mod and enjoy it. Thanks for creating it my friend.
1. tilt shotgun
2. insert shell (looped as many times as needed)
3. insert one more shell and turn shotgun back over.
You can not make an animation that is "take mag out an put it back in" without making it look weird, because you do need to wait the entire duration of however long it takes to fully refill the magtube of the shotgun. And there is a one second animation being looped.
What'cha gonna do, take the mag out and back in 9 times? Naw.
The only sensible idea i had is reloading the magazine itself so that the thing actually works with the animation setup it has.
You could do an "take mag out and back in" anim, but it breaks in online play, in the way that the mag comes out, you sit there like a fool for ten seconds and then have the mag be inserted again.
Some users seem to complain about this, but it seems strange that we, the users, should complain about this, since the author has his own ideas and preferences.
It goes without saying that the author must have worked hard to create this ADDON, but it should be noted that the author paid $60 to make this happen.
There is a strange fascination with removing the magazine and loading each 12-gauge round into the magazine that is almost addictive.

It uses whatever events the spas had pre tls, which is what the autoshotgun uses now.
this addon doesn't even contain sounds at all. it just re-uses whatever sounds the spas had
I gave it 20 via scripts, but thatmessed up the gun by not reloading at all ir when it does reload it breaks and stops the animation halfway through when you go past 10

My kriss vector doesn't have that issue. But i suppose i could just delete the other firing animations as they look pretty simmilar and are quick anyways.
It's a noble endeavor but typically having more than one fire animation doesn't work out well.
teh magazines are on the same texture as the rest of teh usas-12. i suppose something in the envmapmask is a bit iffy so it allows too much shine. not sure.
