yes but you must schedule them for that as lovin' happens only between two pawns. The game will check for available lovin' partner in the bed during their sleep and will choose the closes one accourding to its algorithm.
The placement of the pawn in the bed is determined by number in its <id> subsection of <thing Class="Pawn">. It is assigned at random but you can change it by modifying save file.
Find your pawn in save file and you will see lines like this:
<thing Class="Pawn">
<def>Human</def>
<id>Human39051</id>
"39051" is the number in <id> here. Pawns with higher number will be placed on the right, pawns with lower number will be placed on the left. This number modulo 4 determines facing. If bed has its pillow up, 0 and 1 mean facing front, 2 is right, 3 is left.
That said, beware that compatibility of pawns is also calculated based on numbers in their <id>. So changing their numbers can affect relationship.
Well... it has been out for about week and a half now:

Everything alright with you? That weekend came and went so a lil worried if everything is alright. Hopefully just lack of motivation or time.
Sure, I'll inform you if this happens!
You are welcome to make it compatible with hardcore-sk pack! I am rather casual about modding (it has been over half a year since I decided to work on the versions of this mod for Gloomy Furniture and Soft Warm Beds... but still didn't get my lazy ass to finally finish them ). As long as you put a reference to my work, feel free to use/modify it as you like!
One small wish of mine though - if you publish your work here in steam workshop then drop a link to me. I will make sure to make a reference to it in mod's description and it will also help me to keep a track of what compatibilities are out there for my mod.
Would you consider making it compatible with hardcore-sk pack? It introduces changes to the vanilla bed recipes (adds requirements for cloth/leather types) and adds some new beds.
In case you're not interested in doing it, would it be OK if I (or someone else) would do it (with an explicit reference to your work)? I really would like to have proper industrial poly beds in my current hardcore-sk colony. ^^''
Yeah, I will look and try to provide as much compatibility as there is currently for those mods (and Soft Warm Beds seem to have build-in patch for Gloomy Furniture). The tricky thing is graphics though. I tried several times to make Polyamory Gloomy beds textures but so far I was not satisfied with results.
I just thought of it as a way to avoid the neverending requests for bigger/more beds. :)
Thank you again for your work.
Do you know if there will be updated patches to combine them as I suggested?
I have thoroughly tested it today and everything worked: jealous pawn with triple bed was not satisfied when someone else had more impressive room, but was satisfied having the most impressive one. Probably mod conflict? These beds work exactly like vanilla ones.
@Azalea @SheiFoxy
One tile is enough for table, and modular tables utilize that simplicity. Basically it makes game to treat tables like a surface, uniting close ones together (similar to flooring).
Bed requires two tiles and has an owner. I am not sure that merge would be possible but even then it would bring into existence rather weird constructions.
The size of the jealous pawn's bedroom was made stupidly expensive and big compared to my other colonists' rooms for testing purposes, and all the rooms are clean.
I will use this again when Soft Warm Beds version is added, and I hope you can use Gloomy version and Soft Warm Bed version together. (Or include a Gloomy textures patch for the SWB version or something.)
Really just need to be able to use Nano Repair Tech, Gloomy, and SWB all together. Yes :)
My wife still loves this one. :)
You need to use mods that add 'polyamorous' trait - pawns with that trait do not suffer from 'cheating debuff'. So far I know of two such mods: Psychology and [RF] Rational Romance [1.0].
Try to reinstall the game and clear temporary files in AppData.
The mod works perfectly fine on my PC.
I have just tested with a new game with no other mods installed. I pretty sure all the polyamory beds are consider as a single bed only even I create a quadra bed.
Also, quadra bedroll and quadra bed does not show up in furniture tab even I enable god mode. But the are available from place an item.
It is working fine for me - no unnecessary notifications. Not sure what could cuase a problem for your game.
Oh, not sure. I suspected that two lined beds would not work - that is why I have been stretching current ones (and stopped on the penta bed, even bigger beds look a little bit ridiculous). Most likely colonist placement in the bed is tied to game logic.
I've been trying to edit the beds to be two lanes but can't get it to work. since changing x-value of size makes more sleeping spots I thought changing the <size>(3,2)</size> to <size>(3,4)</size> would make another lane, but no. then I trying <size>(3,2) (3,3-4)</size> and <size>(3,2) (3,3:4)</size> and separating them with their own <size> </size>, but that just makes the texture not appear and unclickable. I don't know where the code that determines this stuff is. Might you know?
Bed slots, as well as the sleeping positions of the pawns, are assigned automatically. I am not sure what logic game uses for that.
So maybe @Meltup can add a way to change the order of the spots
And yet we need bigger beds , maybe not the size ,but the capacity , please
Compatibility patch for VFE is already added to Support Package:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1704764638
However VFE adds new types of bed to the game and I am currently too busy to get my hands on doing polyamory versions of them.
(Tried a 6-person harem, completely failed because i forgot max bed-size is 5)
No idea - RJW has a lot of compatibility issues with other mods, so I didn't test it.
