I am going through a list of Greenlight items that I have upvoted based on a decision made by Steam to reject a refund request on a defective purchase. At this point I am removing my upvotes until I get some answers to some questions:
- Will it be available for purchase through other sites?
- Will people purchasing through other sites get a Steam key?

Whether I purchase it at all will be dependent on whether it will be available for purchase through other digital distributors. Whether I will upvote this or not will be dependent on whether purchases from other sites will require Steam activation or if we will be provided with Steam keys from those purchases once it passes Greenlight. I don't have a problem with Steam activation if it's a must, but I won't purchase new games directly from them anymore.

j-man474, I can not agree with you. In my memory, this is the first time the teleportation system is used in turn-based strategy. Let us not forget that the "Universe at War: Earth Assault" is a real-time strategy.
carnator  [author] Feb 24, 2014 @ 2:44pm
@j-man474 whatever you say
Lamnus Feb 22, 2014 @ 2:00pm
Calling the teleportation system unique is a lie, I've seen it used before, namly in Universe at War: Earth Assault.

xxgodhandsxx Oct 2, 2013 @ 6:15pm
umm really bengunther PC gamers dont play turn based? i wonder how I have over 1000 hours on Empire: total war then one of the best damn games of all time
Xorgye Sep 27, 2013 @ 11:51am
So, this game is quite 'big'. Big in tactics. Not my kind of tactics though, i like the dice-roll above card because of simplicity.
But i think much might be won if you present the game more in 'fun' and less in 'complexity'. That might be hard given your key-selling-points relies much on the deep level of gameplay, but in the end you have to make money of it so ease the game on difficulty a bit and more people might give it a try. (And discover then the gameplay is a fantastic deep experience ;-) )

Nice artwork :)
bengunther1997 Aug 8, 2013 @ 2:41am
Looks good for what it is, but; it's turn-based, come on, we're PC gamers not board gamers, lol, not for me.
Professor_Rotom Jul 17, 2013 @ 1:44am
Nice game. The only flaw are the movements of the units that are sometimes desynchronized with the sound.
DarkRaven Jul 7, 2013 @ 9:15am
Everyone's going for turnbased these days. ._. Owell...
Spider3 Jul 5, 2013 @ 2:02am

carnator  [author] Jun 4, 2013 @ 11:42am
@Nauxious yes, similar to other games, the one thing that is really unique is the Teleporter units. They bring a lot of tactical / logistical possiblities when it comes to getting your units in the right place at the right time for assualts, reinforcing, and retreating.
Lord Avallon Jun 4, 2013 @ 7:26am
Yes, please! Thanks for the Linux support, upvoted!

Narrator sounds hot; interesting idea and kind of reminds me of Battleforge with the deck and cards. Neat idea but doesn't seem to different from past games.

@Eqnx8TH The story about Just Tactics and Mac is told here:
carnator  [author] May 27, 2013 @ 5:55am
@Flutterrock when we started making the game there were only 3 of us on the team. Only one programmer. AI was not something he had done before, AI would have doubled the scope of the project. On the other hand, we had los of experience with multiplayer because we used to write counterstrike plugins and mods (for 1.6 and source) and ran lots of counter strike servers and even ran online tournaments. Since this is our first game, we wanted to keep the scope small, so we could actually finish making the game, so we decided not to do single player. So, that is where we are now, we have multiplayer and it is playable. If we get lots of support from you guys (looking good so far!) then we can find an AI programmer and work on single player.

@Fenrir007 Yes I grew up playing Warhammer 40k and Fantasy. But stopped playing them because it was too expensive to keep buying all of the miniatures and also because I didnt' like spending so much time painting them. I thought a computer version would be much better :)
Sangwa May 27, 2013 @ 2:13am
No dice rolls? Just tactics ? I'm probably going to love this game then, since I'm SO unlucky. (like in X-com ;_;)
That's a yes for me.
